Kenzie and Freddie pulled apart to see James there. He looked angry. "James... this isn't what it looks like," Kenzie said.

"Really? As it looks to me like you're playing tonsil tennis with Ellie's boyfriend. First mum and now you... wait. Mum was never having an affair. It was you!" James said.

Kenzie sighed. "Please. Don't say anything. We never meant to hurt Ellie. Or anyone," she said.

"This is gold."

Freddie looked to James. He glared. "You're getting off on this. She's your sister too."

James smirked. "I never said I'd say anything. But my silence will cost you."

Kenzie scoffed. She shook her head. "You're unbelievable. Do you know that?" She said as she walked out of the room.

Kenzie sat by the city wall. She saw Lacey walking towards her. "What's happened?" She asked.

"James caught me and Freddie. He knows about us. And now he's blackmailing me. He wants me to keep my mouth shut," she mumbled.

Lacey sat down with her. She smiled. "James is an asshole. He will do whatever he can to make himself feel good. That includes blackmailing his own family," she told her.

Kenzie sighed. "I may as well just come clean and tell everyone it's me who's been sleeping with Freddie. Get mum off the hook."

Lacey took her hand and smiled. "It's up to you. You know that I'll support you whatever you do. But you should know that Ellie is still going on about making mum pay. So just be careful. Okay?"

"I don't know what I'm going to do. This is just a bloody mess. I can't cope," Kenzie mumbled as she wiped away a tear. She sighed. "Did you go for your scan?" She asked.

Lacey nodded. "Yeah. Couldn't really see much though. I don't know. Warren keeps trying to call. But I don't want anything to do with him," she told her.

Kenzie walked into the pub. She saw Marnie and sighed. "James. He saw me and Freddie. I'm scared he's going to tell Ellie. Maybe I should just tell her," she mumbled.

Marnie shook her head. "That's the last thing you're going to do. Ellie will kill you. I'm okay with her hating me. But you... she will destroy you," she told her.

Kenzie sighed and shrugged. "I don't know what I'm going to do. Either way someone is going to get hurt. And I just can't cope with it anymore. My head is a mess."

"You have to think of yourself. Life is full of ups and downs. But you will get over this," Marnie said as she smiled to Kenzie.

Marnie could see how much Kenzie was struggling with everything that had gone on. And she felt bad. She knew that she was torn over what to do.

Kenzie was sitting in the flat with Lacey. Lacey had a hand on her stomach. "No matter what happens, at least you're not pregnant."

"Real helpful."

"I'm just saying. Pregnancy isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I loved Sophie and Sebastian. But... I don't understand how Sienna wanted to be pregnant so badly."

Kenzie smiled slightly and sighed. But she had no idea just how everything was about to change between her and Freddie. And it was going to damage her more than she thought.
