steve watched the two in jealousy as they walked back.

"come on, steve." robin said, linking her arm with his.

Time Skip

"we will find him, y/n. don't worry." steve said, pulling the crying girl in a hug.

"it's just.. jason is looking for him, i- i'm worried, steve." y/n said through a couple soft sobs.

"we will find him before jason finds him. i promise." steve reassured.

"okay." she sniffled, and wiped her eyes.

Another Time Skip (sorry 😭)

"eddie!" her throat felt raw as she screamed.

her and dustin ran toward the bleeding boy.

"no, no, no, eddie." dustin breathed out.

"eddie, please. eddie." she sobbed.

"i didn't run this time, right?" eddie choked.

"no, no, you didn't run." dustin said.

dustin and eddie were talking, but y/n was shutting it out.

until eddie said something he hasn't told her before.

"i love you, y/n." he smiled, blood on his lips.

"i love you, too." she sobbed.

although everyone else found out only a few days ago, they had been dating for a while.

"eddie?" she asked when they realize that he wasn't moving anymore.

"eddie." she repeated in a panic.

her breaths started getting faster.

"eddie!" she sobbed.

"y/n, y/n we have to go." dustin cried.

she just sobbed into eddies chest.

"y/n, come on!" dustin said with a shaky voice.

"no, no, i can't."

Time Skip

y/n ran to steve, and wrapped her arms around him, and placed her head on his chest as she cried.

"y/n? what happened?" steve asked.

she opened her mouth to talk but nothing came out.

"where's.." he began, looking around.

he realized what had happened.

"i'm sorry." he whispered, and hugged her back.

she cried into his chest as he hugged her tighter.
