You've been bored of your life recently and you've been looking for a more thrilling aspect to help bring some excitement to your dull life. Which is when you started watching 3 am challenges late in the morning. It was at first very interesting to you, as you found videos that left you on the edge of your sit. But after a few of these, you got bored again and longed for something...more. So as you scrolled on the internet for things to do you found yourself looking into paranormal activities. You knew it was a bad idea but you told yourself you were just looking. Eventually with all that searching and searching you found a nice site that told you how to host these activities. You thought "Maybe I could try one of these, but only if it's simple. I'm not about to drive to some dead-end road or use some board just talk to myself most of the time." With this, you searched the website looking for something simple to do. You saw lots of games such as The Midnight Man and 11-mile Road. These games were too complicated and you were too lazy for that so your continued your search. Until you found the perfect game to play it was called 'One Man Hide & Seek'. It caught your eye as you were scrolled past causing you to click on it to read in further. Once you clicked on it you read to yourself what it said. One Man Hide & Seek: If you're ever bored or lonely, you can play this game. If you want to play you must have the following lots of rice, a cup of salt mixed in water, a stuffed animal (an old or creepy one for extra scares), a tub of water, a candle, a sharp object, a piece of your DNA, and some red thread. In this game you must do the following for it work.... The more you read the more you knew you were about to play this game. As you continue to read how to go about starting and ending the game. Once you got done reading it you got up and began to gather the materials. You made sure to get everything including the salt mixed water since it seemed very important in the game instructions. After getting everything you put it all in the bathroom as you checked the site to make sure you got everything. After a few moments of realization you got the things you were missing before getting the last thing you needed to make this work. You began to look around in old boxes for that one toy you always hated as a kid. You eventually searched in all boxes until you got to the last box. As you moved that box to search it, you sudden saw it behind the box. Seeing it made you jump as you realized how bad of a condition it was in. Your old Elmo doll was dirty and had torn patches of fur around its face and arms. Most likely from how riff you were as a kid with it but the dirt must be from how long its been sitting there. As you slowly reached out and grabbed it. You felt just how dirty it was, you were disgusted by it but nonetheless you took it to the bathroom and proceeded to do surgery on it. As you followed the instructions the site gave you. You cut it open removed it's stuffing and filling it with rice. You then took a piece of your hair from a brush and put it in the doll. Then you sewed it up with the red thread, lucky for you your mom taught you how to sew. After sewing it you placed it in the water and went about the rest of the ritual. Once you were done you made sure to tell Elmo "Tag your it!". Before you ran off with a candle in hand and laughter in your voice. You ran to your hiding spot in closet. The closet was in between your open kitchen and open living room. These two rooms were very close together. The bathroom where you left Elmo was next to the open living room down the hall. So details aside you sit there in the darkest since you blew out your candle once you hid, while waiting for something to happen. As you waited in the closet for what seemed like foreverrrr you eventually heard a sound. It was a soft splashing sound and you would have written this off if you weren't playing this game or at least if you didn't start to hear the sound of the scissor you left in the bathroom hit the floor. This sound was clear to you since you dropped those scissor a LOT in the bathroom. You felt worried at first but at the same time you told yourself that they're just safety scissor and can barely make a dent in paper let alone human skin. Telling yourself this you felt calm as you heard soft foot steps on the creaky wooden floor. The foot steps were slow and painful to listen too. Since it was followed by a terrible opening and closing sound of the scissor. The foot steps continued to come closer with a sickening snapping sound of the scissor. Once they got in front of where you were hiding you steadied you breath as there was dread filled pause of silence. It was as if they knew you were there but was deciding what to do. As the silence carried out you felt the fear slowly start to sink in. Until you heard the sound of the doors opening you froze in place. As you saw the Elmo doll staring at you with the scissor right next to it. It's small hands on the door. You two probably stared at each other for a few seconds but it felt like minutes sitting there in the dark. Suddenly the Elmo doll looked away from you and grabbed the box right next to you. Elmo slowly pulled the box out and made sure to keep eye contact with you the whole time. After pulling it put and keeping eye contact the doll pushed the box into the kitchen right next to you. Being to scared to move you listened as you heard the box get smacked against the cabinets. Followed by some soft scratching noises. You listened on in curiosity as you heard more scratching. That was until you a scraping sound once you did it all clicked in your brain what the doll was doing. You jumped up out of the closet and looked over in the kitchen. Only two see Elmo holding the one of your knifes staring at it as they moved it side to side. Before turning around and looking right at you. You wanted to run as you watched it hop down and walk towards you but you felt to shocked and scared to do so. When it got to your feet you watched as it looked up at you and with a twisted smile it raised the knife up and stabbed your foot. You screamed as you fell to the ground with a hard thud. You tried to compose yourself as the pain in your foot started to make you cry. But while being so focused on it you almost forgot the Elmo doll as you looked up to find it. Only to your shock standing right in front of you staring at you was the doll. You watched as it reached out and touched your face. It's hand feeling surprisingly soft but wet from the water it was soaked in. It felt the side of your face catching one of tears. It pulled away after this and said the following "You look like Elmo's friend but you aren't them." His voice was deep and squeaky as the voice box inside him was long broken. After he said this you watched as the doll made its way to the door and some how opened it without laying a hand on the door and walk out. You passed out after the scraping of the knife is out of earshot. When you awoke you found yourself in the hospital with a bandage around your foot. You were confused at first but remembering last night though you frantically sat up in your hospital bed. When suddenly your roommate stood next to you telling "Woah relax you still hurt and the doctor said you need to rest." You try and tell your roommate that your can't relax and that there is a demon on the lose. Your roommate laughed at you telling you "Sure there is. Look just got some rest." You kept trying to tell them that an Elmo doll was running around with a knife. When they heard this they started to laugh as they said "Is that why I found this little fella outside the house when I came over. You know you really should of been more careful if you were going to play with dolls and knifes." You watched as your roommate went through their bag looking looking for it. You decided to take the bag and dump it out onto the bed. You roommate said "Hey relax I was going to give it back but it seems like I must have miss placed it somewhere." You looked through that bag until it was obvious that it wasn't in there. Realizing this you frantically looked around the room until your eyes landed right next to the door. You saw the Elmo doll lock the door and pull the curtains. This made your roommate turn around and approach it saying "Oh there it is I guess the hospital staff must have cleaned it up a bit since it looked terrible before all dirty but now it is at least clean." You watched as your roommate looked back and talked to you while the Elmo doll slowly pulling out a scalpel from behind its back and raised it into the air. You shouted at your roommate "Drop him he's alive!" Your roommate turn around as Elmo stabbed him deeply with the scalpel. Before pulling it out and continuing to stab him as you watched in horror. As Elmo said over and over again "I found youu!!". Turns out that brush was your roommate and that was the last game of One Man Hide & Seek you ever played....again.
