Leaves rustling,

hair frightening, running for her life,

she,

Ruth MerrlBeckky,

 was dreaming

until she was not.

I race to the front door awoken by the triggering sound of Bus GS63, look out the window and go bolting right through the unlocked door, bare feet scraping the ground,

I feel alive, the amount of stamina I hold by taking gasps, each step is mind blowing my self doubt by ten million.

I start breathing harder though, and falling slower, I need to get on that that damn bus though, so I push my body far past my zombie brain that's still groggy cos my sister told me that if you're tired it means you keep going

which rewires human wires speed up and once again mind blown. The bus doesn't stop for 18 houses as my lungs are tired of screaming for air, my hoodie and backpack obviously both have no mercy, I did want to join track or cross country.. I start smiling

back-pack to back, pounding

At last, I flimsily walk up the steps huffing and puffing with burning cheeks and sniffles, while some kids stare, the drivers sassily says "Ohh -kayy."

I want to hug that lady and wonder if she knows what I just felt running non-stop, but I just try to scrunch my face into some sort of normal looking smile that's possible to make when your throat hurts and you feel like the world stopped for a moment.

I don get it quite right until I'm at the last seat at the back. I'm avoiding Christan and Aditi, my friends, this morning.

At this point my head falls down with my arms as I go "Auhh." It's Monday and I don feel like it. I just start reading my book.

Then I remember a piece of paper in my back pocket, I just throw it to the guy in front of me.

It reads:: I've never seen a diamond in the rough, as pretty as uu are enough,, oh let the tears rain ground

On the other side:: Just some lyrics I made up that keep rushing through my veins, and I just wanted to share with someone.

I listen carefully and hear him scrambling to catch it, he must've been really bored,

I get left with unanswered questions, "Did he read it? ..What'd he think?"

so i jump to my tippytoes but can't tell, and feel awkward, so I just sit my butt back down.

And the daydream begins

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ---                                                                                                                                                                                                      - -

                                                                                                                                                                          ______

as i'm done picturing the crazy amount of rainbow sherbet waiting to be executed by my throat at home all the while everybody starts screaming "IT'S THE APOCOLYSPE, CHRISTAN AND KORI ARE KISSING, O-M.G" repeating like this a couple of kangaroos they sound obnoxious, the bus driver doesn't seem to entertain this though they're too busy listening to their headphones that're clearly unplugged
