It was a night in December as Baji, your boyfriend stayed for the night. Well, your last night to be precise.

You were diagnosed with cancer and had been hospitalized for over a year.As you watched Baji with pain in his eyes you sighed as you stroked his hair.

"Hey, babe. Wanna know my last wish?"
you said as he looks at you"Hm what is it?"he asked, and you smiled "But first let's go to the roof." he smiled back and got a wheelchair.

He placed you there gently as you two made your way up to the rooftop of the building.As you two got there you slowly stood up and smiled at him."My last wish is to have my last dance with you."

He smiled and nodded he got his phone and played your favorite song as he held your hand. As you two slowly danced, you looked at him caressing his cheek.

You noticed that he was about to cry as you giggled,"Babe, don't cry. Like I told you, I'm always there for you even though you can't see or feel me anymore."you said as you wiped a tear from his cheek.You rested your head on his chest as you could hear his heartbeat.

"Baji. I love you,"
you said as he started to cry silently, you two stopped dancing as you just rested your head on his chest. You two sat on the ground as he was gently stroking your hair as you sat on his lap and leaned your head on his chest while you hold his free hand. The cold wind of December didn't bother you anymore as you hummed.

"Hey, Baji... I'm going to sleep now, 'kay. I love you."you said as he stroked your hand

"I love you too."you heard him mutter as you smiled while slowly closing your eyes.That night of December, you died in Baji's arms.

"I kept going, I reached the end. It was.. unimaginably beautiful..."
he mumbled before looking at Chifuyu and smiling. "Thank you, Chifuyu," he spoke giving him a soft smile before finally closing his eyes upon seeing you next to his dear friend smiling.
