The next twenty minutes was a bit chaotic, as Blair and Paige hurriedly helped their mom pack, while Yoongi and Hoseok dealt with John McKenna and getting things arranged.
Jungkook emerged from the Bangtan SUV to help Blair and Paige in the house, then had sent Tae and Ava to watch over the original SUV from Sentinel. Tae ran his scanner over the entire vehicle and reported it clean to Ava before he would allow her to climb in. There they'd wait for the others, to take them back to the tower. Jimin and Darcy stayed with the Bangtan SUV and were ready to take Mrs. Powell and John McKenna off to Incheon Airport the instant Yoongi cleared them to go.
Jin worked from the Tower to arrange flights and ease the movement between countries and Ginny was quick to reassure Blair and Paige that everything would be handled by the time their mom got to the airport.
Namjoon called the Stray Kids leader once again and arranged the security with his group.
"I don't think we mind taking a trip back home Namjoon-hyung," came Bang Chan's voice through the phone and Namjoon smiled. "How long do you want us on this job," he asked, and Namjoon's brain spun through all the shit they had been dealing with in the last two days. Now he added in the previous wet team that had assaulted the tower during the last job, and the video on repeat on the monitor behind him of Brock Collins shaking hands with Hu Chen.
"Probably a couple weeks man. Is that something you can handle," Namjoon asked and watched as Lara swiveled in her chair to watch him. He wanted to do something to reassure her, but things were moving too quickly now. He brought his attention back to Chris as he spoke again.
"Yea that's cool, we can slide in like we're on family visits and have enough of the team to space out amongst the eight of us," he said. They closed the conversation with the confirmation that Hoseok would speak with Lino later and they would settle accounts. Namjoon said his thanks and goodbyes and hung up, just as Seokjin and Ginny came into the office.
Jin moved into the spare office chair and immediately began to pull things up on the keyboard. Lara moved to stand up and get out of the way, but Namjoon shook his head at her.
"Stay there if you would," he asked, and she nodded slowly. "I think it's time that our team sees us working together, from now on," he said slowly, and Lara's grin reached across her face as she nodded this time.
She took Ginny's hand in her own and scooted her chair over to sit beside the couch for the moment. Namjoon watched as the two women put their heads together, and though his stomach churned for a moment, his whole body felt it's relief when Lara got a huge hug from her big sister.
Ginny sent him a thumbs up from behind Lara's back and he smiled at her exuberance for her sister, then turned to see Jin next to him, watching Ginny and Lara as well.
"Did you finally tell her Namu," Seokjin asked softly and Joon blushed a little but nodded.
"She said it first Hyung. She said it so many times, because I thought I was just dreaming it," he whispered, and Jin grinned up from him and offered a hug of his own.
"Then it's as it should be man. I'm so happy for you Joonie," his brother whispered in his ear and Namjoon hugged the older man for a moment.
Seokjin sat back down in his chair and sent a smile to Lara and got an answering grin before he turned back to Namjoon.
"Happy news is something we could all use right now, cause this is about to be a shit show my brother," said Jin and Namjoon nodded at the reminder of reality intruding once again.
He looked over the screens that Jin had pulled up and frowned slightly.
"Miss Virginia," called out Jin and interrupted the whispers in the back of the room.
