Yuki POV:
I hadn't gone to school today, I knew people were bound to catch on that something was wrong. I changed my floral-scented mask and switched it out for a new fresh one. I quietly snuck out of my dorm only to find, Mirdoriya.
"Yuki, where are you going?" he asked quietly.
"I-" I paused, wondering whether I should tell the green-haired boy.
"I'm just going to the roof." I finally said, giving in.
"You should rest, you have to get better!" He said worriedly.
"It's not going to get better..." I mumbled.
"Well let me come with you." He said.
"Alright," I said.
As we reached the windy rooftop, I coughed, almost breathing in a petal. It's not like it would make a difference I mumbled.
I walked toward the fenced view of the city. The little lighted windows flickered in the darkness.
"Hisame-chan?" He questioned.
I felt a tightness in my chest, I coughed and coughed, blood and petals staining my mask.
A massive gust of wind blew my mask off, petals fluttering in the air. I looked up at Midoriya.
His face was shocked and worried.
"Hisame-chan...tell me what's wrong." He whispered to me.
"..." I stared at Midoriya.
"Is it...hanahaki?" He asked.
"What? H-how did you know?" I asked. Ashido knew what the disease was, but I expected that it wasn't a well-known disease. After all, Kaminari didn't know.
"I just know," he said worriedly.
He gave me a look as if to say, 'you're not getting the surgery, are you.'
I blinked at him.
He sighed and said, "It's peaceful up here."
"Yeah..." I mumbled.
"I know how you feel about Hachimitsu-chan." He said picking his words carefully.
I stiffened as he continued.
"If you tell her, I'm sure she'll like you back." He whispered.
"I can't..." I said sighing, coughing up a few petals.
"Think about it okay..." he asked, walking back to the dorms.
"Alright," I said.
I watched the green-haired boy walk away, and I wondered, how did he know about hanahaki?
