I sigh as I sit back in my seat, putting away my diary. I know its "childish" but it has everything from my life in it starting in 2004 to now. I shift in my seat and look out the window. This car ride is taking forever.

Ever since the Red Army took over my town, my life went to shambles. My father was shot trying to protect us. I (obviously) was in fear for my life, so I decided to join them. You're probably saying, "Y/n, what kind of dumb logic is that? Join the people who shot your father?! Have you gone mad?!" No. I was in fear, knowing I had no chance of actually saving myself I joined them for my safety.

I just sigh and look down at my hands, my mind racing. Maybe I have gone mad. I realized I have barely any experience in full combat. Sure, when they started attacking areas my father started teaching me hand-to-hand combat and I've obviously shot a gun before, but this is all new to me. I'm surprised they even accepted me. Maybe they're low on enrollment?

Just as my thoughts started clearing, the vehicle came to a screeching halt. I look up from my hands and see that we're at the main base. "Get out, there are guards outside waiting for you. They will direct you through the rest," my driver said to me. I gave him a nod and stepped out, grabbing my stuff along the way. I walked towards the entrance with a bit of anxiety. A guard noticed me and asked me for my name. "Y/N L/N," I state. "Ah, a new recruit! Yes well, I'm Pat. I'll be here to tour you. Afterwards i'll take you to wherever the other new recruits are for today." He explained to me. I nodded once more and followed him inside.

He stepped inside the elevator, me following, and pressed a number. I couldn't see which one, but i'm sure i'll find out. After what felt like an eternity of silence, the 'ding' of the elevator was what broke the tension. We stepped out as other soldiers stepped in. He took me down a long hall, finally stopping at a door. It read "230". "This is your room it's on the 6th floor. I suggest you put your stuff in now, so you don't have to haul it around." I open the door and step into the dorm. It was small, but big enough for me.

The room had a bathroom to the left, along with an empty desk. On the right was a neatly made bed with a uniform sitting on it and a dresser. I put my stuff on the floor next to the door and closed the it. I turn around and look and Pat. He just nodded and we set off.

After what felt like forever, Pat finally took me to an auditorium. It was semi-full of soldiers. I walked in and found a seat. Sitting down, I felt kind of anxious. I guess they weren't low on enrollment. Finally, Pat and some other soldier stepped up on stage. The other guy spoke, "Welcome newcomers. Im Pau and this is Pat, we are your head generals and main pilots. We're here to help with any questions and directions." He said, referring to them both. He continued, "We will be handing out schedules afterwards, these will tell you what you are going to do for all day, every day. Unless specified otherwise." He then began to set some rules. I kind of spaced out but snapped out of it when he said, "Today is a break day for all of you, you may get yourself accustomed to the building. After today is when you start training. I expect the best out of you soldiers, if not, punishments will not be hesitated." He stepped away from the microphone and grabbed a bunch of files. I assumed they were just the schedules.

When everyone started getting up I stood up and walked to the stage, where the schedules sat. I found my name quite quickly and grabbed my schedule. I walked out of the auditorium, letting out a sigh. I decided it was best to get into uniform, rather than walking around in my regular clothes.

I walked into my room and took in a deep breath. I walked over to my bed and grabbed the top first. It was a red turtleneck sweater with two white lines forming an 'X' on it. I took off what I was wearing and put it on. Next, there was a dark brown, almost black, pair of tactical combat pants. I tucked my sweater into my shirt and picked up what was next. It was a navy blue over-coat, I quickly shoved it on and adjusted it to my liking. I also noticed my initials sewn into it, it was small and in a gold thread. I think I noticed the soldiers from the elevator's initials on theirs too. I then put on my combat boots and black gloves. I also fixed my hair to my liking.

When I felt like I was done I left my dorm and went to walk around. The place was pretty big. There were hundreds and hundreds of rooms. I knew the "lobby" was on the first floor, but everything else was so new. I wonder how many soldiers there are for this many rooms to be here. I decided to start at the second floor and work my way up. When I saw the size of the floor I sighed.

This is gonna be awhile.
