"No." Taehyung raised his head to look at Jin, seriously telling him, "I want you to keep this a secret for me."

"Why?"

"If they knew, they would definitely arrange an operation for me immediately."

"Isn't that to be expected?"

"Anyway, just help me keep it a secret."

"How long are you planning to keep it a secret?" Jin stared closely at him, Taehyung's reaction was a lot calmer than he had expected. Perhaps he had long known about or expected his state?

"I'll tell you when it's the right time." Taehyung stood up and slowly walked towards the entrance. When he walked up there, he turned his head back around to Jin again, "Remember to keep it a secret for me. If you tell other people, I won't do the operation."

Jin narrowed his eyes, just what was this guy planning? He wasn't someone who could stay calm in such a situation. He had just found out that he had contracted a brain tumour, how could he be so calm? He wasn't thinking of doing something crazy right?

Jin picked up his phone, preparing to notify Chanyeol but hesitated and placed it back down. He wanted to see just what Taehyung was going to do.

A flash of interest flashed through his eyes.

After Taehyung left this hospital, he went to another one.

Minchen Hospital is a private hospital under the Jeon Family. Taehyung came here to try as a match.

Chaewon had heart disease, and she had always been looking for a suitable heart. Taehyung had made the decision of donating his heart to Chaewon. After finding himself contracting a brain tumour, for his "beloved woman", he renounced treatment and sacrificed himself so that she could happily live.

However, he had to check if his heart matched her type. If it didn't, then he could only try to think of some other way to keep her alive.

When Taehyung came back home, it was already evening. Besides the servants, no one else had returned yet.

Taehyung ate his food, took a walk, bathed, and then headed to bed to sleep.

The next day, Taehyung saw his father and older brother. The family ate a quiet breakfast. Although Taehyung's nature wasn't too good, his relationship with his parents was still pretty okay.

Afterwards, Father Kim said, "Tae, you graduated two years ago already, idling your time away won't give you any benefits. So next month, you'll intern at a company."

He had just made his goal to eat, sleep and play around yesterday night, but today, he was told to go work from nine to five?

Taehyung quickly said, "I can find a job myself, Dad doesn't need to worry."

"Really?" Father Kim gave him a fleeting glance and said, "I had originally planned to send you to Jeon Family's company for an internship. But since you want to find one yourself, then I won't bother."

Jeon Family's company? The main character's headquarters? The holy land to swipe a favourable impression!

As a result, Taehyung incomparably seriously said, "Dad, I think I do need to go out and experience life more. You have to send me to Jeon Family's company for an internship."

Father Kim gravely laid down a question, "Then can you guarantee you will work hard and not lose face for me?"

"I guarantee on this cup of milk!" Taehyung solemnly drank down the milk. He especially hated to drink milk. So this guarantee was especially strong.

Father Kim expressed that he was very satisfied.

Chanyeol looked at his younger brother and felt that his father's decision was a bit careless. Taehyung's nature was too volatile, sending him to Jungkook's company, it wouldn't drag in trouble for them, would it?

Jungkook was not at all easy to interact with. If Tae offended him, he probably wouldn't even know how he died. Moreover, he was still thinking about pursuing the other's younger sister...

Chanyeol felt that he should start thinking early about how to deal with the funeral arrangements.

Taehyung was full of energy as he stood in front of a mirror. He wore a light colored shirt and a black suit without a tie, appearing leisurely yet steady.

Today was the first day he was going to Jungkook's company to work, so Taehyung's spirits were at one hundred and twenty percent. Before today, he had especially gathered some information on Jungkook. At eighteen, he was participating in company affairs, at twenty-three, he had started to formally take over some simpler things, and in five years he had increased the company's profits by seventy percent, showcasing his astonishing business talent. He was mature, steady, strict, firm, astute, and competent...in short, he was wonderful in all areas and a seasoned gold bachelor within the circle.

During an ordinary course of events, a person like this would have many beautiful women waiting on him, but he had no known sex scandals. His life and emotions were like an ascetic monk who was free of worldly desires. Of course, there was also the possibility that he kept it confidential.

However, Taehyung's first formal meeting with the rumoured perfect man wasn't wonderful at all.

"Kim Taehyung, since you will be interning at my company, then lay down your great young master self and properly do your work. I will not give you any preferential treatment. If I discover you slacking off or trying to evade work, then you will get out of here immediately." Jungkook used a sharp gaze to size him up from head to toe. "You will first act as my assistant. Secretary Lee will tell you what you should do. Start learning from the easiest stuff, and if you have any questions, ask him. Alright, you can leave."

Taehyung did not have the chance to say a single word before he had been made to leave, with no trace of politeness from Jungkook. Jungkook's eyes and tone had been full of disdain as if the fact that he had come to work at his company was a stain on the company's image.

Taehyung took a deep breath, calming himself as much as possible. Jungkook acted like this to him because he was going after his younger sister. It was only natural that Jungkook would be a good deal fussier. He should express his understanding.

When Secretary Lee saw that Taehyung didn't get angry, he felt rather amazed in his heart. Rumour had it that this young master's temper wasn't too good, but even in the face of such berating, he had merely endured it. He really causes people to gain a whole new level of respect for him. Secretary Lee originally thought the other would pull a long face and leave, and Director Jeon was probably planning on that as well...
