this story will be centering around the topic of star tear disease also known as hanahaki disease
(there are two types of hanahaki disease but we will be focusing on star tear here:))

Hanahaki Disease- a fictional disease where the victim of unrequited or one-sided love begins to vomit or cough up the petals and flowers of a flowering plant growing in their lungs,

Star tear disease -The illness born from subjects of unrequited love in which the patient starts to cry colored tears similar to stars; hence the name. Along with the colored tears, often there is a crystalline sound or similar noises when a tear shatters on a solid plan.

It's not deadly but cannot be cured. To heal from star tear disease, or at least to stop it, is to have your feelings returned and be with the one you love.
