Chapter 32

Chuuya is lost for words on what Atsushi said to him.

"Please Chuuya-san" – the boy said while bowing down in front of the executive.

The older Omega then smirks and scoffs "I will not"

The silver-haired boy was shocked to hear the ginger's response so he looks up to him "But why?"

"Are you forgetting that I'm from the Port Mafia and not just a member, I'm the first rank executive and only Omega of the organization" – the other said "While you are from the detective agency, if you learn to use your ability you will be a problem to us"

"But you are with the agency now" – said Atsushi.

"You really are a stupid kid are you?" – Chuuya snarled "I would never be part of this agency, I never agreed on anything"

"Hey!" – Tanizaki stands up while the other agency members watch them.

Dazai and Kunikida just came out of the doctor's office.

"What kind of Omega are you?" – the ginger continues "Learning one's ability is like a walk in the park, if you can't do it yourself then you don't deserve to be called royal"

"Watch your words!" – Tanizaki said.

Atsushi looks down "I would like to learn my ability, I wish I was able to when I was younger but I didn't have a chance because..." – tears are edging at the corner of his eyes.

Though Chuuya hated probably everyone at the agency, he somehow felt bad for scolding Atsushi because deep inside him he knows that Omega's life isn't as easy as everyone else's and each of them has a story to tell.

"...because when I was young I was—" – the boy was cut off when the door to the detective agency opens.

"I'm back!" – Ranpo exclaimed, just got back from a crime scene that he investigated.

The tension between the two Omega was interrupted, Chuuya went back to sit on the couch with Kyouka, and Atsushi remained standing.

"Don't think about it too much Atsushi" – said Tanizaki while patting his friend's back as they went back to their work station.

Meanwhile, Kunikida walks towards the ginger "I want to remind you that the only reason why you are here right now is because of Dazai and the deal we made, as long as you are here you will follow all the rules of the Armed Detective Agency and you will respect every member of it. If you break any of those rules, the deal is over and we have no choice but to let the Gifted Special Operations Division take your case" – said the Beta then left.

Chuuya remained silent, he hated so much the knowledge that Dazai the man he loathed the most saved him from being sentenced to death, and the fact that Mori didn't want him back until he fulfilled his mission which only means that he won't be able to see his son until then. Tears are starting to edge at the corner of his eyes as he remembers Fumiya, he wanted to go back and be with him again.

"Chuu-chuu" – Kyouka called out as she looks at the ginger.

The Omega was taken out of his own thoughts and he looks down at the young girl, he caresses her hair as he smiles. At least Kouyou's daughter Kyouka is there with him.

Later that day.

"Kunikida" – Ranpo called out "The report about the case yesterday?"

Kunikida pushes his eyeglasses up "My apologies Ranpo-san, I haven't started the report for it"

"It's fine" – said the older Beta "Here take this, I found out that the file that contains the Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia's information was sold by the Sheep to the other group"
