On our first day in Milan, we went around the City. Went to museums, art galleries. Cafés and tried many food. Tuwang-tuwa naman ang matakaw na tiyan ko.
We went to all the tourist spots and went to the famous Cathedral in Milan, Duomo di Milano. The church was just incredible. I took a lot of photos of course and would even ask a random stranger to take a photo of me and Quen.
"One day, we'll get married here" aniya kaya napangiti nalang ako
At dahil nandito kami, shempre hindi mawawala yung shopping. The City was just beautiful that I wanted to live here already. Talagang sinulit namin ang stay namin dito at lahat sinubukan namin.
On the second day, we used Quen's family's private plane and went to Verona. We went wine tasting, even tried the lakeside thrill rides. And we even went to Juliet's house! We took pictures at the Verona Arena, Pizza delle Erbe, and Ponte Pietra. Nung mahapon naman, we went to Venice. Saint Mark's Basilica, Doge' Palace, Bridge of Sighs, and the Grand Canal. Parang kailan lang sa BGC ko lang na try toh, ngayon dito na talaga sa Venice, Italy. The places were just magnificent. And the people were also so nice!
The next day we went to La Spezia's Cinque Terre. This time kasama na namin si Athisa at ang boyfriend niya. I was so amazed while watching the beach and the beautiful town. Sa painting ko lang nakikita toh noon, at hindi parin ako makapaniwalang nandito na ako. I have never loved the beach more. At shempre nasa dagat kami, naligo kami. We spent the whole morning swiming and having fun pero nung medjo uminit na umalis na kami kasi gaya ko, ayaw ring umitim ni Athisa. I was smiling while watching the pictures and the videos that I took and Athisa took. Nagtatawanan na kami habang nasa biyahe kami papunta naman ngayon sa Leaning Tower of Pisa. Pagkarating namin doon, we took funny pictures with the tower. May isa pang picture si Quen na natawa ako dahil kunwari he's stopping the tower from falling. Yung isa naman ay hawak niya ang tower. We also took pictures together at may picture rin na kaming apat with Athisa and Dylan. And since nasa Pisa na kami, pumunta nalang din kami sa Florence para doon na mag dinner. It only took us an hour and 35 minutes to get there.
Habang nag-iikot kami. Dumaan nalang din kami sa mga sikat na tourist spots nila. We went to Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, The Boboli Gardens, Accademia Gallery and got the chance to see the famous sculpture David of Michelangelo. And the Giotto's Bell Tower. Punong-puno na yung sling bag na dala ko dahil andaming pictures na kinuha ko gamit ang polaroid camera. I got tired of using that so I would sometimes use my phone or my other camera. For dinner we ended up going to Ciro and Sons-Ristorante Pizzeria Firenze, and tried their pizza. It was new to my taste but it was so delicious.
Gabi na ng makabalik kami sa Milan. Nakakatawa nga ako kasi akala mo yung byahe namin from Cebu to Bohol lang. We both immediately went to sleep dahil sa pagod sa biyahe.
On the third day we went to Rome. We visited the Trevi Fountain, St. Peter's Basilica, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, Alter of the Fatherland, the Pantheon, Arch of Titus, Pyramid of Caius Cestius, The Last Judgment, Fontana del Tritone, Mosè di Michelangelo, and of course the famous Colosseum.
Buong araw naming nilibot ang Rome at kahit ilang oras na paglalakad, hindi ako nakaramdam nv pagod dahil talagang sinulit ko ang pagkakataong nakapunga ako dito. But I got hungry all right. Kaya pagkatapos ng pag i-ikot namin we went to a restaurant named Rione XIV Bistrot.
"Babe what do you want to eat?" Quen asked
"Hmm, I wanna try their Amatriciana, Lasaña Boloñesa, Prosciutto and water nalang din"
"Are you sure you can finish all of that?" He asked
"Of course. I'm really hungry, hehe" napailing-iling nalang siya at bumaling kina Athisa para magtanong kung anong kakainin nila.
