Chapter 1

     *Knock knock*  "(Y/n)? Are you awake?" You groaned and slowly sat up. "Now I am..now what do you want mei?" She sighed and she opened your door "You can't stay mad at me forever." You pulled your cover off and you slowly got up "I can certainly try. now I will ask ONE more time. what. Do. You. Want?" You responded starting to change out of your pajamas. Mei looked away and mumbled something that sounded like 'Breakfast is ready.' You grunted to show her that you heard her and she needs to go away.
*Tap tap tap* "Mei...." She was tapping the doorframe*tap tap tap* "Mei you know I hate that." *tap tap tap* "Okay. Fine Mei, I'm sorry for being mad at you but you need to understand that I need some time away from people. You know that better than anyone."I do, But we are supposed to be besties! I don't even know what I did." You scoffed and put on your training suit. "Please just...go.". She huffed and left your room in a hurry and you followed quickly after her.
"(Y/n)!" You spun around trying to locate where that voice came from "psst! Over heeere!" It was Hana, she was sitting with Lucio and junkrat
....That man gives you the creeps...Maybe it's because he's a junker or maybe it was his 'bodyguard'  or maybe....No shut up. You tried to silence your thoughts. It was WAAAY too early to be thinking. "You just gonna stand there?" Lucios voice snapped you back to reality and you walked over to them "Sorry, I must have zoned out." you laughed nervously, trying not to look at junkrat but you felt his eyes on you and it was pissing you off "What the HELL are you looking at rat?" You looked at him, angrily. He did not answer and he went back to eating his food. You scoffed and shook your head, There you went again. Starting fights with people that didn't deserve them. Sometimes you wondered what it would be like if you were in a different world that better suits you and your...personality... "(Y/n). Winston needs you." You spun around to look at Jack, "What for, sir?". He shrugged, a very lazy reply, he had to be very hung over or very tired.." Some experiment he is working on, He wants to discuss it further with you." You nodded and he moved out of the way so you could walk to his quarters, and so you did. 'another one Winston? When are you gonna quit being such a nerd?' You thought to yourself, laughing.
   -•TIME SKIP•-
  You walked into Winston's quarters "You wished to speak with me, sir?" He looked at you and motioned for you to sit down. "Please sit down. I have something I want to try out" You hesitated but sat down.
"I have asked everyone but you and Jamison. I probably don't even need to ask him, knowing him he will probably be right on board with it" You popped your fingers nervously "please get to the point." He nodded and showed you a little cap, and continued "I have been working on a transmitter cap-"  "like Satya's teleporter pads?" You asked, genuinely interested "Not..exactly...Well maybe- but instead of teleporting you from one place to another it's more of a...world to world teleport" it sounded very dumbed down from how he normally explains things to you but you chose to overlook it "So what you're telling me is, this....thing," you said pointing at the cap "Will teleport someone into a different world?" He nodded but you weren't taking it, you needed for it to make some sense. "Or maybe, it's a placebo of sorts," you said standing up and gently taking it from him "tricks your brain into thinking it's in a different world?" That made sense. Not that much,  but it was enough for you.
You looked over at him and smiled when you saw the face he was making. You couldn't tell if he was impressed or confused. Maybe both.
"And let me guess, you need someone to test it out? Cause I'm in" he smiled "Good! Good! But, we need more than one person, I will go get Jamison. Wait here and please don't snoop around." He said already out the door.
He knew you better than that, you put the cap down on the table and you looked around. That's not snooping, right? It took them a few minutes to come back "Hello, Sheila." You knew that voice so well, Junkrat. So his name is Jamison. You have to admit it suits him "Looks like we are gonna be a part of this crazy new experience together" You looked at the cap. "Seems like it. One question Winston, what "world" will we be in?" "I have no clue. It's for you to decide."he responded, quietly. That answer caught you a little off guard. "What do you mean?" You and Jamison asked in unison. "As far as I'm aware, It takes your desires and puts you in a world best suited for you. Now with you and Jamison being VERY similar, whatever world you guys get put in will be best suited for you both." You only nodded. This hurt your brain quite a bit but you loved helping Winston out, he was always oblivious when you made fun of him, and..he was the only one who ACTUALLY trusted you..and, even if you hated to admit it, you trusted him too, he would never put you in harm's way, not on purpose anyway. He was nothing like Mei. She put you in danger. That damned ice wall of hers, she put it behind you on purpose. The other team almost killed you and now she wants to act like she did nothing.
"(Y/N?), You okay?" Junkrat asked, snapping you out of your thoughts. He already had the cap on, it looked quite funny on him to be honest. "Yeah! Did you say something?" Winston laughed "I was just asking if you were ready!" That caught you off guard, you didn't think it would be so soon. You thought you would get get some food first. Oh well.
      "Yeah. I'm ready"
