Chapter 12: A Man In Black.

"W-...What-? M-...My names not Max..." Tari trembled confusingly, staring up to him as being called Max brought back heavy memories.

"Really? I remember seeing Maxine Fukuda on the Nametag." He said sternly with his British accent. Tari steps back, her eyes widening as she can't believe what he's saying, trembling in fear. "HEY FATSO, LEAVE HER ALONE!" Ivory says walking in front of Tari.

"Ahh Chloe Scyleia. I've seen your disguise around. But I suggest you move. And let me talk to Max before you end up in a fatal situation." He says sternly knowing what he wants. Tari standing in awe. "I-..Ivory do what he says..." She whispers as Ivy steps back nodding as she stays close to Tari.

"None of you shall speak, if you fail what I ask, you will be slain. My name is The Purlion. I've come to finish what YOU started Maxine. YOU KILLED MY BROTHER. I WILL GET MY REVENGE. YOU WILL BE SLAIN BY MY HANDS. I WILL HAVE YOUR BLOOD COATING MY CLOTHES. YOU WILL BE DEAD. YOU HEAR ME MAXINE?"

He snatches the shard and uses it to form a portal.

"D E A D"

He enters as the portal closes behind him.

Tari looks at her own hands and then back up to where he was, she fell to her knees Ivory drops beside her holding her back. "C-..come on Tari he must be-"

"He must be what? Lying? I remember my own name Chloe." Tari says distraught, she looked traumatised. Ivory steps back a bit. "D-...don't call me that. I'm Ivory! YOU'RE TARINA! You're not who he said you are!"

"THEY'RE FAKE NAMES! I'M NOT TARI." Tari snaps looking to her as Ivory stands up and backs away. "P....please Tari, let's go..."

"N-NO I-..." She looks back to everyone else and sees them upset looking at her. She exhales and tears swell in her eyes. "Okay... let's go home..." Tari says quietly as she stands and begins to walk out of the rubble and made her way to the entrance, in utter defeat. Clive looked to Ivory as she wiped her own tears and began walking out. "Ivy..." Clive grabs her arm as she turns around and she looks to Clive as her face is covered in tears.

"I-..I've lived a full life here Clive. Not k-knowing it's all fake. Not knowing my Real Name." She rants, sniffing, trying to keep it together.

"Ivory... i-... i-"

"Not now Clive... just... let me have this..." Ivory rips her arm off of Clives grip as she walks off. Tari stands idle waiting for the others. Amity looks to Clive worryingly as they both look to Anne and Marcy, who're hugging one another, shaking in fear.

"You two. Come with us. We'll provide a home with food, water and shelter." Amity says holding out her hand to them as Anne looks to Marcy and she nods, Anne grabbing her hand as Anne kept Marcy close to her as they followed Amity and Clive.

"I can't believe it... what... what are our names Clive?" Amity says unsure, scared even. Clive shakes his head gently. "I don't know Amity... I really don't..." He says, grabbing her hand as they all walked like one, each making their way to Tari and Ivory, both apart from each other. Ivory with her arms crossed and Tari with her hands in her pockets. Tari opens the portal as she nods in the direction of the portal.

Ivory walks in as did Clive and the rest. Tari looks back to the temple one last time as she presses a hidden button on the wall next to her, watching it explode as she jumped through the portal last second. She fell through the endless tunnel and stated the coordinates, they all ended up in Elpis. Tari slamming her boots off as they fell unevenly. She ran upstairs and slammed the door.
