Ruby:"hey N/N you should get a ring for Yang!"she said
Young Y/N and Yang looked at each other with completely red faces
Yang & Y/N:"huh why?!"
Ruby:"because you two would be cute together if you were to get married!like mom and dad!"she said innocently with her smile
Yang:"Ruby me and Y/N are just friends!"she said embarrassed
Y/N:"y-yea me and her are just cool like that with each other"he said looking away just as embarrassed
Tai:"I don't knoooow,you two shared a bed last night and seemed inseparable"he teased
Summer:"yea and Y/N is just as protective with Yang than she is with Ruby~"she teased as well
Y/N:"that's because they are both special to me and I care for Ruby like the little sister I wish I had!Yang and I just click like that!"
Yang:"yea me and him just enjoy each other's company!"
They both held red faces but little Y/N looked at the rings and secretly would love to have a future like that with Yang but knew there will be no shot in the world...or at least that's what he thought cause little Yang would love to marry Y/N just as much as Y/N would love to marry her
—Timeskip a few years—
So...after another long day of classes at Signal Academy we now see Y/N in a hallway at the age of 14 years old while Yang is 16. One thing to know about Y/N is he always was shorter than Yang and looked weak but he's the opposite and ranked around top 10 in combat of his year and held his own against upperclassmen. Y/N stood in the hallway of Signal and held a box with rings inside waiting for his Sun dragon to arrive.
Y/N:"I hope she accepts my promise ring..."he said nervously
???:"N/N baby!where are youuuuuu~!"she sang
Y/N flinched and turned around quickly to get hugged in his girlfriends chest
Yang:"heya bae!hope you had a good day at Signal!"She looked down to see Y/N looking up but still buried in her chest

Y/N stepped back and could barely look into Yangs eyes then slowly showed a box which confused Yang a bit more as she placed her hands on her hips then it clicked as her eyes widened
Y/N:"let me say this isn't a proposal but a promise to you!"he said opening the box to show the rings but he pointed at the one with a dragon on it
