You just escaped a car crash. Your parents, your unborn egg, and everything else inside the car were gone. You were alone. Worse, you were nowhere you were familiar with.
You didn't have a choice. You trudged slowly into the dark woods. It was midnight, and it was rainy. You passed several other Pokemon. They simply hid. They figured you'd rather not be talked to. After losing your energy, you passed out on the top of a mountain. The last thing you saw was a pink light before blacking out.
You wake up, and the sun just began rising. You look up, and see something you didn't even expect. A legendary.
"WH-WH-WH-WHAT THE HE-"
The floating pink figure, who you realized was none other than Tapu Lele, shushed you. "Woah, don't freak out! I'm just trying to help you, ok!?"
"Wait, how come I can talk to you?"
"Oh, I can talk. I know, it's not normal to see a Pokemon who can speak human language."
"Yeah, did you see me pass out back there?"
"Yes... and I looked through your mind. You seem to love Pokemon. And... i'm really sorry about the incident. I bet your parents loved you."
"They did... I don't understand why this happened! I'm lonely!"
A couple tears fell from your eyes.
"Hey. Don't cry. Just because you lost your parents doesn't mean you're lonely. You have me now. C'mon, gimme a big squeeze."
You flop onto Tapu Lele, who gladly accepts the hug. You cry into her chest, and she rubs your back. "You're ok... I care about you too."
