Rekindle

     I walked into home room and smiled when I seen Kirishima saving my seat next to him. I plopped down next to him and groaned. "I don't want to be here" I laid my head down on my desk and closed my eyes. "Yeah me either but if we want to become hero's together we have to come to school" he laughed patting my head. I grunted in response. "Look alive students. Today is the first day of your training. Everyone line up and follow me outside" Mr. Aizawa sighed walking out the room. I quickly got up and lined up. Denki was in front of me and kirishima was in front of me. "What do you think we are going to be doing" Kirishima was literally bouncing up and down in excitement. "I have no idea I hope it's combat training" I punched the air with my fists. Kirishima laughed at my goofiness and I couldn't help but look up at him and smile. I'm beyond happy that he has come back into my life. Ever since my dad left I have felt alone. Yeah I have had my mom and shinsou but my mom is always away on business trips and shinsou... well he's shinsou. It finally seemed like things were looking up.
     The training was a bunch of lameness. All we did was see how powerful our quirk's were and see what we needed to work on. Tomorrow though we are doing some hero training and I was beyond excited. "Hey wanna train with me today" I asked walking up behind kirishima. He was standing with a angry looking blonde guy. "Oh yeah sure. Amber meet Katsuki Bakugou" he smiled over at the blonde. He looked down at me and sucked his teeth before looking away from me. "Well hi to you too" I scoffed. "Hey Bakugou you should train with us too. If that's okay with you" Kirishima looked down at me. "Uh yeah sure" I shrugged. "Then let's get going" he smiled wrapping his arm around my shoulders. Bakugou followed us to my house and into my back yard. "So do you wanna start with some combat" I asked looking over at the two boys. "I'll blow you to shreds" Katsuki scoffed looking over at me. "Oh he speaks. Wanna test that theory" I asked smirking at the blonde. "Let's go then you damn extra" Katsuki yelled as small explosions left his hands. "Your on" I yelled running towards him. He shot a giant explosion from his hands. I stomped my foot into the ground as a wall of dirt shot into the air blocking the blast. The wall exploded and dust filled the back yard. I swirled my hands around clearing the air just in time to see Bakugou barreling towards me. I swirled my hands around again using the air to knock him off course. I threw him into a tree, he landed on the ground hard. "I see this is going to be a challenge" he smirked standing up and wiping his mouth. He ran towards me again. I closed my eyes and raised my hands slowly as the ground started to rumble. "What the hell" he yelled as roots from the trees in the yard shot from the ground and went flying towards him. He dodged the roots and exploded them. As he turned back to me I had a ball of water in my hands I threw it at him, it knocked him back a few feet. I waved my hands dramatically while he was still on the ground causing his shadow to come alive and grab him. It held him to the ground to where he couldn't move. I walked over to him a smirk playing on my face as I placed my foot to his chest. "I win. You didn't even touch me" I laughed as I waved my hands. His shadow returned to normal and I stepped away from him allowing him to stand to his feet. I turned to kirishima who stood with his mouth hanging open staring at me in shock. "What" I laughed shrugging my shoulders as I grabbed my water bottle taking a sip. "Dude!!! That was totally epic!!!" He yelled throwing his arms around dramatically. I shrugged again before looking around the yard. It was a mess, the ground was cracked and burnt from katsuki's explosions and the trees roots were laying all over the yard. My mom is going to kill me.
     I huffed as I shoved more roots in a trash bag. "I can't believe we destroyed the yard" I growled glaring at Bakugou. "Don't look at me like that ya damn extra! It's just as much your fault as it is mine" he yelled at me while raking more roots into a pile. "Hey guys it's not that bad. Relax" kirishima laughed leaning over on me. "Easy for you to say!!! You don't have to do anything" I yelled. "Don't yell at him. It was you and Katsuki here who destroyed my yard not kirishima" my mother yelled from the back door. "Sorry mom" I grumbled shoving more roots in the bag as kirishima cheered us on.
     I leaned on kirishimas back as he dragged me along. "Amber come on man we are gonna be late" he huffed. "I don't wanna" I whined falling to the ground and sitting on my butt. "Dude are you being serious right now" Kirishima looked down at me raising an eyebrow. I crossed my arms and stuck my tongue out at him. "Oh so now we are six again" he laughed. I looked away from him and before I knew it I was lifted off the ground. I looked down and realized kirishima was carrying me. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck. "W-why are you carrying me" I stuttered. "I'm not letting both of us be late" he smirked down at me.
     "Alright class today we are doing combat training and hero work. But first I have a little gift for everyone" he waved towards the wall and little shelves came stretching out. On the shelves were suit cases with our seat numbers on them. "Your hero suits are ready. Go get them on and meet me outside to get on the bus" Aizawa yawned. Everyone quickly got up and grabbed the suit case with there seat number on them. I quickly grabbed mine and started walking to the girls changing rooms. I threw my suit on and stepped in front of the mirror. I was in shock it's exactly how I drew it. It was a skin tight body suit, easy to move in and water proof! It was black with blue swirls around it, it had a head piece kinda like Aizawa's and the boots came up to my thighs. It was amazing! I quickly made me way to the front of the school where I spotted kirishima. He had pants on with red pieces on the side of the pants, he didn't have a shirt on but he had a head piece on that make him look like he had horns and a pointy chin. He also had these red gear looking things on his arms. "Hey kiri! Your hero suit looks awesome" I smiled bouncing over to him. He turned to me and smiled down at me. "You suit looks awesome too!!!" He beamed. His red hair was sticking up like it normally does and it rested gently on his head piece. "Alright class climb on the bus. The ride ahead is short but we still have to get going" Aizawa sighed climbing onto the bus first. I followed behind kirishima, getting ready to slide into the seat next to him when I got pushed into the seat beside him. I looked over quickly and seen Katsuki sliding in next to him. I glared at him before crossing my arms over my chest and huffing. "You can sit with me on the way back" Kirishima laughed.
     We reached the training building we were going to and we all piled off the bus. I quickly linked arms with kirishima as we walked into the building. Standing in front of us was the pro hero 13. "Dude! It's 13 the space hero" Kirishima gushed. "Good morning students and welcome to the USJ! Here we have different combat and rescue courses designed as different catastrophic events. Today you will be mainly focusing on search and rescue. But be careful there may be dummy villains out there ready to delay your rescue process" 13 laughed. Something behind her caught my eye though. A giant black fog swirled around almost looking like it created a portal. Suddenly scary looking guys started walking out of the portal. "Uh guys" I shouted pointing down below the giant stair case to where all the villains were standing. "What the hell is that" Bakugou yelled. "13 protect the students" Aizawa shouted pulling his phone out and trying to call someone. "Damnit. One of the villians must have a frequency blocker quirk. Ida... your the only one fast enough. Get back to the school and warn all the teachers" Aizawa barked before running down the stair case and started fighting off the villains. My body was physically shaking, we were being attacked by real villains right now. "Students come on quickly out the door" 13 started pushing us towards the door. As we were just about to reach the door the black fog appeared in front of us but this time it had a face. "You guys are not going anywhere" the fog spoke. As everyone stood in fear 13 jumped in front of all of us. Before she could attack Bakugou and kirishima jumped up and tried to attack the guy. It was no use though the fog just split and slowly reformed. The fog started laughing, "you kids get out of the way" 13 yelled as the tip of her finger opened and her quirk black hole was activated. She started sucking up the fog and it started to laugh. "You quirk is powerful 13 but it's useless against me". Another smaller portal thing opened up behind 13, right in front of my face. Her quirk was still activated but instead of sucking the fog guy up, it was teleporting through the portal and sucking 13 up from behind. I shouted in shock as 13's back started to disintegrate into the portal. Kirishima quickly pulled me back and pushed me behind him. 13 fell to the ground, we all stared in fear. Suddenly the black fog consumed us all. I quickly used my quirk to get Ida and a few of my classmates out of it before I was teleported to a new location. I looked around as the fog cleared. I was alone in the woods. Where did everyone else go? I looked up and seen the ceiling of the building. Good I'm still in USJ. I heard a twig snapped behind me, snapping my head around I seen two villains emerging from the trees. "Hello there" one of them laughed. The other one threw a knife towards me. I quickly used the air around the knife to stop it right before it hit my face. They both looked at me shocked before I turned the knife around and sent it shooting back towards the villains. They dodged it before running towards me. I don't have time for this I have to find my friends. I closed my eyes and slowly raised my hands up causing the roots from the trees to shoot from the ground and wrap around the villains. When both villains were tied up by the branches I took my chance to run before more showed up. I didn't get far before I was fully surround by villains. I looked around trying to find an escape route but everywhere I looked there were villains. I'm going to have to fight. Two villains came running towards me but I flicked my fingers and they went flying in opposite directions. A villian grabbed me from behind, wrapping his arms around me. I struggled against them, more villains were closing in. I started to panic, I haven't done this in a long time, but now was the time for it. I closed my eyes and focused my mind on gathering all the heat in my body and making it rise. At a certain point it started to hurt but that's because I haven't done this in forever. A scream left my mouth as my entire body erupted in flames.
