Bakugou was laid out next to me in the grass, I was sitting up watching Aizawa and kirishima train. "Hey amber" Bakugou's voice caught me off guard. "Oh so I don't get a stupid nickname" I laughed as I looked over at him. "Eh I just haven't thought of one yet" he laughed as he sat up. He looked down at the grass in thought before he looked up at me. "Kirishima cares about you a lot. And somehow I do too. I have never cared about anyone until I met you and kirishima. You guys have become ... I hate to say this but my best friends" he sucked his teeth and looked away from me. I looked at him shocked as a smile spread across my face. He glared over at me, "you tell anyone I said any of that I'll blow you to shreds" he whispered nudging me with his elbow. I laughed and nudged him back. "Okay I won't. But you started to grow on me too sparky" I ruffled his hair, he swatted at my hands earning another laugh out of me. We both watched kirishima and Aizawa fighting. "You know he was really tore up after your capture. He blamed it on himself. I've never seen him so upset about something. There has been a lot that has happened this school year for us to get upset about... but you getting kidnapped is the worse I have seen him. He wasn't himself. He really loves you Amber" Bakugou sighed, his eyes never leaving the red head. I looked over at Bakugou then back out at kirishima. "I hope someone cares about me the same way kirishima cares about you. Everyone is either afraid of me or just avoid me all together" he looked down and started picking at the grass. "Some people just can't handle your explosive personality. But you got me and kirishima and we aren't going anywhere. And knock on wood if you were to get kidnapped I wouldn't stop until you were home and safe" I smiled placing my hand on his shoulder. He looked over at me a small smile coming to his face. "Thanks asshole" he pulled me into his chest for a hug. I was beyond shocked but I happily hugged him back. Bakugou has definitely changed since I first met him but it has been a change for the better. I would like to think it has something to do with me and kiri but it doesn't really matter.
I plopped on the couch along with kirishima and Bakugou. "That was exhausting" I sighed. "I agree" Kirishima lifted his arm up in the air weakly before it fell back to his side. "We will be doing this everyday after school until it's time for the training camp. The exams are coming up and who ever doesn't pass the written and practical does not get to go" Aizawa stated as he walked off to his room. "Dude I'm so going to fail" Kirishima shifted dramatically as he laid out on the couch. His head rested in my lap and his feet rested on Bakugou. "Oi shitty hair get your feet off me" Bakugou yelled but stopped when he heard kirishima snoring. "Does he usually fall asleep that fast" he whispered looking over at me. "Yeah especially if he is tired" I laughed running my hands through his hair. "Can you get him off me" he whined as he threw his head back. I swirled my fingers as kirishima floated in the air. I moved him to the other couch and covered him up. I plopped back down on the couch next to Bakugou. "Are you staying the night too" I looked over at him. "I'm thinking about it" he sighed closing his eyes. I leaned my head back on the couch and closed my eyes. Soon I heard Bakugou's soft snores. I looked over and seen him slumped over, his head resting on the arm of the couch, asleep. I smiled to myself and swirled my fingers having his legs lay straight on the couch. I grabbed another blanket and covered him up and sighed. I turned to walk to my room, "pebble" kirishimas sleepy voice rang in my ears. I turned quickly to see him sitting up and reaching for me. "Come sleep" he whispered. I smiled and got under the covers with him. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. "Goodnight love" he whispered placing a kiss to the back of my neck. "Goodnight" I smiled as I let sleep consume me.

-Aizawa's POV-

I tossed and turned in my bed. I was restless, I sighed and sat up. I walked down stairs and looked in the living room to see Bakugou, kirishima and amber knocked out on the couch. My heart stopped when I seen Amber and kirishima cuddling on the couch. Breathe Aizawa they are just friends. I sighed and quickly turned away before I ran over and ripped them apart. I quietly sat at the kitchen table. It has been a crazy couple of days, I finally got my daughter back and she is more like me then I thought. I was scared her mother was going to rub off on her. I looked up my eyes landing on amber and kirishima . I remember kirishima as a baby. He was shorter then Amber but they were the best of friends. You couldn't separate the two of them. Lord help who ever messed with the other. They were each other's protectors and I can see they still are. I sighed looking down. I missed so much  of Ambers life. I barely know who she is but I'm trying to learn. I want to be the best father I can be for her. I want to be everything her mother wasn't. I don't want her to question if I love her or not, I want her to just know. I don't want her to have to question if I'll be there, I want her to know. I don't want her to want or need for anything. I want her to be able to come to me about anything. "No" ambers voice screamed out, pulling me from my thoughts. I sat up quickly looking over at her. Her eyebrows were knotted together and her face was distorted in fear. Another scream left her body and I quickly stood up. I stopped when I seen kirishima sit up quickly, he gently shook her. She sat up quickly grabbing at her chest and breathing heavy. "Hey your okay" he whispered gently stroking her cheek. Amber sighed and rubbed her face. "They are still so real" she whispered as she pulled her knees to her chest. "I know pebble. Maybe we should take you to a doctor" Kirishima sighed sitting next to her. Amber shook her head and looked up at the red headed boy. "No. I'm not going to some crazy doctor" she sighed leaning her head on his shoulder. "Okay fine. But we need to figure something out. You have been having these nightmares for too long" Kirishima wrapped his arm around ambers shoulders. I quietly sat back in the kitchen chair and listened. I'm glad amber has had someone like kirishima by her side through all of this. I couldn't imagine the fear and pain she has gone through. Me being a grown ass man I couldn't do it, I couldn't handle it. Maybe I need to sit and talk with her about everything. Amber is like me she puts up a front acting like she is okay but deep down she isn't. "Kirishima can I tell you something" her voice was quiet. "Of course pebble" I could hear the concern in his voice. "My nightmares.... Before the capture... the villains would.. somehow get in my dreams to communicate with me. Dabi warned me he was coming. He told me he wanted me to join there league because my quirk was the key to there success. Toga would use her quirk to turn into you... and tried to get me to believe you were the one who helped kidnap me but I seen through it. I was scared to tell anyone. I didn't want someone to get hurt because of me. I wanted to protect everyone at all costs" her voice wavered as I heard her sniffle. "Amber why didn't you tell me. We could have protected you better. We could have stopped them before they got to you" kirishimas voice raised slightly. "I wanted to protect you. But in the end you almost died because of me" she whispered. "Are they still appearing in your dreams" he asked. "No but I wake up in that same room. Instead of Dabi though it's my mom and shinsou. The two people who have caused me the most pain over the years" there voices died down for a moment. "Oi what are you two doing up" I heard Bakugou yell. "Amber had a nightmare" Kirishima defended. "Oh are you okay" he whispered. I stood from my chair and walked to the door of the living room, remaining hidden. I peaked around the corner and seen Bakugou sitting next to the couch amber and kirishima were on. Kirishima and amber were laying down again. "Yeah I'm fine" amber smiled down at the blonde boy. "Good. Just remember they can't get to you anymore. They have to get past me" he smiled. A laugh came from amber as she stretched and yawned. "I know. I'm glad I have you two" she smiled holding kirishimas hand in one of hers and Bakugou's in the other. Soon ambers snores filled the living room. The two boys didn't move though, they sat quietly watching over amber as she slept. I made my presence known by walking into the living room and sitting on the couch. "Mr. Aizawa did we wake you up" Kirishima whispered. "No I have been up" I sighed. "I want to thank you two" I whispered looking up at the ceiling. "For what" Bakugou asked turning to where his back was against the couch. His hand still holding ambers. "For being there for amber. I'm glad she has friends like you two. I know her life hasn't been the easiest living with her mother. I don't know to what extent but I have an idea. I worry about her" I sighed looking over at her sleeping face. "Don't worry Aizawa. Bakugou and I won't let anything happen to her again" Kirishima smiled looking down at her. "Even if our lives depend on it" Bakugou sighed as he slowly let go of her hand. My heart felt warm as I looked at the three young hero's. At that moment I knew even if I wasn't around she would be safe because those two would always be with her. Bakugou is different with her. To everyone else he is mean and cold but with amber he is soft and vulnerable. I have noticed amber has a way of bringing that side out in people. "I know and that is why I am thanking you" I smiled looking over at the two boys. "Of course. There is really nothing to thank us for" Kirishima sighed wrapping his arm around amber and laying down. "Well. I'm going to try and sleep. You two go back to sleep and get some rest. After school tomorrow is training. You guys also have a big combat lesson with All Might tomorrow" I sighed standing from the couch. "Yes sir" both the boys said in unison. Bakugou grabbed a pillow from the couch and laid it on the floor next to the couch and grabbed his blanket laying down. "Goodnight kids" I smiled walking up the stairs. "Goodnight" they both yawned.
