(A/N): Here's the official beginning of my new fanfic!^^ Hope you like!

The last thing I remembered was being abandoned and left into the cruel world. A lifeless soul wandering the streets seemed to be my fate. Who would want to take in something that's already dead? What I didn't realize was that there was one person that decided to care and it happened to be a god...

Yato's POV:

I didn't know becoming a world famous god was this hard. Yes, I don't have a regalia, but every master god makes mistakes right? I plopped down on a near by bench letting my hands rest under my neck. I sighed and looked up at the night sky filled with bright vibrant stars and menacing phantoms. Hopefully none of the phantoms try to ambush me when I don't have a regalia. I took the time to turn my head and notice something that caught my eye immediately. It appeared to be a small wisp of light letting it's reflection dance across the surface of a small puddle. Suddenly, it came to me that this was a soul, no, a future regalia! I sprang out of the bench excitedly almost child-like to go catch such a magnificent weapon. When I approached it, I started to chant the typical words when a god finds their regalia.

"Your name is (y/n) and you will serve as my regalia! Come Sekki!"

As soon as I chanted those words, the regalia transformed into a beam of light and shot straight up into the sky. I caught it with ease and grasped it's fragile handle. I stared at this regalia with slight astonishment. It was the most beautiful regalia I've ever caught before. The contours of the blade were perfect. It was thick and sharp along with a faint blue glow that surrounded it. The handle was made out of platinum cherry wood . I noticed that the bottom of the sword held a deep blue sapphire engraved inside it. I couldn't understand why no one noticed this regalia.

I let go of it and let it transform into a human once again.

Your POV:

I found myself appear into the mortal world and feeling it's cold winter air. A small white thin kimono was hugging every curve of my body. I saw the single character of my name engraved on my collar bone. Thinking I was alone, I lifted up the part of my kimono a bit to see exactly what foreign thing was written there. Unfortunately, I was not alone. I looked up to see a boy standing there. Wait, was that the god that summoned me? He had gorgeous bright blue eyes that suited his face nicely along with dark, raven hair. He was wearing a full-body track suit with a light emerald bandanna around his neck.

"I am Yato, your master and savior. You are my faithful regalia (y/n)" he said calmly while handing me his jacket.

The jacket reeked of sweat when I put it on. However, this didn't bother me because there was another sweet scent that attracted me. I couldn't describe it exactly, but it occurred to me that I really enjoyed this scent.

Yato and I were walking through different alleyways for a while, and I didn't exactly know where we were heading.

"Ehh..Yato? Where are we gonna stay for the night?" I asked curiously.

"Well...we're not going to be physically indoors you could say..."

"Huh?!" I answered dramatically.

"Basically, when you're stuck with me, we roam the streets and scavenge for food-and we only sleep in a shrine at night." he said not very confidentially.

Then I said something that I regretted.

"Are you sure you're a god?"

"What are you talking about?! Of course I'm a god! One day I will become a world famous god that everyone will bow down to!" he replied with a twinkle in his eye.

Before I answered back, we arrived to his shrine. I groaned a bit when I sat down on one of the stairs. Yato positioned himself against the edge of the shrine and lied down on his back letting his arms bend behind his neck.

"Yato....I-I'm sorry for what I said. I should be thankful that you rescued me from the state I was in." I apologized while fondling with one of the ends of my long wavy brunette hair. I had this strange warm feeling rising up to my cheeks. Was I blushing?

Yato hopped down from the position he was in and sat next to me. I could see more details of his face now. "Don't worry, you'll get used to living like this sooner or later," he answered with an unnoticeable smile.

I nodded slightly, and drifted into an uncomfortable deep sleep...
