I woke up, sun shining bright. I sat up from my bed and look at the clock. 6:32 am Still early. I got out of bed, fixed my hair. And went to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror, gosh I look tired from last night. I got back home yesterday at 12:47 am. But I'm happy jared was finally back home.
I took a quick warm shower before eating breakfast. I don't know if mother is already up yet. I put on some comfortable clothes. And got out of the bathroom. The weather is quite strange today. Man I can't enjoy the nature with this weather. I got out of my room. I ran down the stairs. To go to our kitchen. Mother still isn't awake. I grab a glass and pour water.
Finally a normal day for me. I can relax now. After drinking my water I went up to my room once again. The weather is still pretty bad. I hope it goes away. I went to my study table & decided to read one of my favorite books. It started raining. I look out of the window.
It was pouring rain. Oh I love rain. Especially going for a walk in the woods. I continue reading my book. I hear a knock on my door. I went to open it. It was my brother. Looks like he's awake.
"Sis breakfast is ready." He said. He walked away after saying it. I placed my book on my bed & got out of my room and head downstairs. Mother and Jared was already sitting waiting for me. I sat down, and ate my food. My breakfast is pancakes and strawberry juice. My favorite. It was still raining outside. I enjoyed my meal.
After i took my breakfast, I head upstairs, I went to my room and grabbed my book I was recently reading. I sat on my seat and continued reading the book.
The bad weather seems to go away. After a few minutes, the weather is finally sunny. I didn't mind. And continue reading my book.
After I finished reading my book, i set it aside & wrote a letter for george. I miss him, even though I saw him yesterday. Haha. Typical me.
But anyways. I started to write the letter.
" Dear George, Hey love, How are you? I miss you. Can't wait to see you again, Thank you for finding my brother, George. I really appreciate it. Love you! Stay safe sweetheart. From, Helena. "
Done with the letter, Now I have to send it to George. I gave it to the owl & it flew far away. Now, I have to wait for his response.
"Helena! Mums calling you!" I heard jared scream from his room.
"Okay! I'll be there in a minute!" I screamed back. I got out of my room & head downstairs. My mum was in the kitchen. I head to our kitchen to talk to mum.
"Hey mum, you need anything?" I said. She looks sad. Is mum ok?
"Oh hi, Helena. I just wanted to tell you something." She said. In a low tone. Is she ok? Did something happend?
I looked at her, confused. She lift up her head, Looking back at me. She opened her mouth, but no words were coming out of it. Huh?
"Helena....."
"....yeah.?"
"Your father had died, I- I don't know what exactly happened to him." She told hesitately. I look at mum once again. Disbelief.
"What...??" I said.
"You heard me right, helena. I'm sorry." Mum said.
I saw a tear drop at my mum eyes, she did love dad a lot. I always saw them being sweet to each other & never saw them fight. The memories w dad flew in my mind. Dad loves me so much. I can't believe we just lost him.
"Did you at least tell jared?" I asked.
"Not yet.. I'm planning to tell him. I'm quite scared. He's only 12..." she answered.
"Oh, Well good luck mum." I told her. I walked up to her & hugged her. I broke the hug & gave mum a smile. She smiled back. I headed to my room to release a tear drop.
