"Broaden your minds. You must look beyond. The art of crystal gazing is in the clearing of the Inner Eye. Only then can you see. Try again. Now, what do we have here?" Trelawnry said as she approach our table.
"Do you mind me trying? The Grim, possibly," Hermione said as she looked at the ball on the table.
"My dear, from the first moment you stepped foot in my class... I sensed that you did not possess the proper spirit for the noble art of Divination. No, you see, there. You may be young in years, but your heart is as shrivelled as an old maid's, your soul as dry as the pages of the books to which you so desperately cleave," Trelawny said causing Hermione to storm out me flowing.
"Hermione?" I said knowing how angry she was.
"Is she right?" Hermione said stopping by the door to the tower.
"Don't tell me you actually believe what she said," I said rubbing her back.
"No but I... I don't know anymore not only am I struggling to keep up I am also battling with whatever we are," Hermione said.
"Hermione I will always be there for you whether it is at your back in front of you or by your side no matter the cost," I said.
"I am still unsure," Hermione said.
"Come on class ends in an hour and I doubt you wanna go back in there so let's go for a walk," I said and Hermione smiled and took my hand.
The two of us walked around the hallways of the castle just enjoying each other's company it was nice.
"I can't believe they're going to kill Buckbeak. It's just too horrible," Hermione as we were on our way to Hagrid's.
"It just got worse," I say hearing the unmistakable voice of Draco.
"What did I say? Father said... I can keep the hippogriff's head. I'll donate it to the Gryffindors' room. This is going to be rich," Draco said and my blood boiled.
"Hermione," I said as she walked ahead of us.
"Ahh Look who's here. Come to see the show?" Draco said a smug smile on his face.
"You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" Hermione practically yelled placing her wand at Draco's neck.
"Hermione, no! He's not worth it," Ron said and Hermione lowered her wand before punching Draco square in the nose.
"Malfoy, are you okay?" One of the kids with him said.
"Let's go. Quick. Not a word to anyone, understood?" Draco said as they ran off.
"That felt good," Hermione said.
"Looked good," I said.
"Look at him. Loves the smell of the trees when the wind blows through them," Hagrid said as he looks at Buckbeak from the window.
"Why don't we just set him free?" I said.
"They'd know it was me, and then Dumbledore would get into trouble. He's coming down, Dumbledore. Says he wants to be with me when they... When it happens. Great man, Dumbledore. A great man," Hagrid said.
"We'll stay with you too," Hermione said.
"You'll do no such thing! Think I want you seeing something like that? No, You just drink your tea and be off," Hagrid said and Hermione lay her head on my shoulder sadly.
"Oh. Before you do, Ron..." Hagrid said pulling Scabbers out of a pot.
"Scabbers! You're alive!" Ron said.
"Keep a closer eye on your pets Ron," Hagrid said.
"I think you owe someone an apology," I said.
"Right. Next time I see Crookshanks, I'll let him know," Ron said.
"He meant me!" Hermione said raising her voice.
"Blimey. What was that?" Hagrid said as a pot smashed.
"Hagrid!" Harry said looking out the window.
"Oh, crikey. It's late. It's nearly dark. You shouldn't be here. If someone sees you outside this time of night, you'll be in trouble. Particularly you, Harry. With you in a moment! Quick. Quick!" Hagrid said getting us out the back.
"Hagrid. It'll be fine. It'll be okay" I said.
"Go on, go on!" Hagrid said giving me a smile.
"I'm sorry we could help," I said to Hermione as we left.
"I know," Hermione said.
