“Damn can't find ay single bunker out here.”
Occasionally they went somewhere, Donny always had his bat with him in case some Nazi tried to sneak up on them. Wicki and Hirschberg joined them half the time, keeping guard was something the Basterds all had to do. Donny glanced at Aldo two or three times and decided to open his mouth and say something to break the awkward silence.
“We could stop here for right now, ain't like we're any closer to finding one.”
Donny wasn't exactly the highest rank than Aldo, of course Aldo was mostly seen as the cruel sadist but intelligent individual when it came to killing and scalping Nazis. Watching the American pin down and silence Nazis drove him into pure ecstasy and jealousy. He always wanted to impress Aldo as best he could, that grin on his face is something Donny wanted.
“It is gettin' a bit dark out, ya right.”
Wicki and Hirschberg should be on look out at this time, there'd always be a sniper snooping around in the woods stupid enough trying to get past the Basterds, never ended well. Donny and the American stopped walking in the now quiet peaceful french woods.
Aldo sat down on the tall grass near a tree, he patted down next to him, gesturing Donny to sit down, so he did.
“You plan on killin' nazis later?”
“Yes sir.” Donny said, smiling at Lieutenant, Donny bit his bottom lip, groaning a little. He loved violence, especially when its preformed on a handsome man.
“Look at ya, gettin' worked up...”
Aldo watched, grinning at Donny with an eyebrow raised.
Who woulda' thought joining the Basterds I got to indulge in these things. Donny knew better than this, he reached out, placing a hand on Aldos cheek, even with a little protest he gave in. The warmth of Donnys hand made his expression calm.
“What's with ya lookin' at me so much today hm?” Aldo said, taking Donnys hand away from his face and pinning him down on the grass, no protest or a movement, He waited for this moment just from the start.
