It was a mundane monday afternoon. The bell had just rung signifying the start of our lunch break. As people flocked out of the classroom to eat their lunches.

I wore my airpods and played music. I usually lock my screen to hide what song Im playing cause I believe that when we like a song, it becomes a part of us. We hide under the lines, under the melodies. A part of us, in each song we play.

On that particular moment. I forgot to lock my screen, so It was showing what I was listening to. I was listening to OPM. As it was my favorite Genre.

And the most extroverted of our classmates just had to see it. Her name? Belle Dziesma

"Ohh you like Ben&Ben? Me too!!!"

She grabbed my phone and added her playlist to my albums

She said "You should listen to them, I guarantee you they're good"

"Don't worry I wont." I replied.

She made this gasping face as she walked out the door muttering "How dare you" while looking straight into my eyes.

I smirked and continued my somewhat peaceful lunch alone.

15 minutes later, the door slams open, Its Belle. Her mouth still stuffed with food. Chewing while strutting angrily towards me.

She reached my table. Took a moment to swallow. And furiously said "I can't get what you said out of my head. COME ON. PLEASE JUST LISTEN TO THE PLAYLIST. JUST ONCE."

"i really don't wan-"

I was cut short as she was pounding her chest because she ate too fast.

I grabbed my water container. And offered her water, she accepted and drank it all.

"Did you really have to drink it all? Now I have to buy a refill from the School Co-op"

"Thanks, Yes" she wiped off the water from her lips "I'll come with you"

"No thanks, you've already done enough."

Then she grabbed one of my airpods and wore it refusing to give it back

"I won't give it back. Not until you played my playlist during the walk to the Co-op"

"Fine..."

As we walked to the co-op as she insisted. I played the playlist she gave me. Scrolling through the playlist, I barely saw anyone familiar. They were new artists to me.

Even though I don't know them. They managed to makr the hairs in my body stand up. They were that good.

"They're good huh?" she asked.

"Nah. They're mid." i replied

"Your body says otherwise. "

She caught me not gonna lie. The songs were just too good. She was right. And I refused to admit it.

I got my water, and we walked back to class. Not muttering a single word. I was focused on the music.

When we got back. She handed me the airpod with the biggest smile you could think of. It was so bright, I swear I was blinded.

"Told ya it was good" she grinned as she returned to her table.

Her playlist was amazing. The artists and the songs she knows are so amazing. It was like I was reborn with a new taste for music.

The bell rang, And students flocked backed in for the afternoon lecture.

Afternoon lecture was just the worst. And I just wore a singular airpod, and hid it under my hand. Cause it was that boring. And the songs she had on there really made a difference.

For all the afternoon, I just listened to her playlist.

We really didn't make contact after school, cause she has activities with her friends. And I immediately go home most of the times.

And so I did. I went home. I didn't see her. I wanted to talk to her about the songs she had and how amazing they were.

But yeah. I didn't get to see her.

I went home and binged her playlist again, playing it in the background.

In the evening. I eventually finished her playlist and looked for more playlists she had. So I stalked her profile.

And to my amazement. She's a woman of 100 playlists. For context I only had 6.

Damn. Talk about dedication to her craft.
I listneed to some of them, all of them. Absolute bangers. Her music taste is complicated, but never bad. And she's amazing as well.

I was so into her playlists I slept with one of them playing in the background.
