Chapter 1 - the first encounter

"hi! I'm Nick Nelson! It seems like we will sit this year next to each other"

A young man with big puppy dog eyes looked at me with the biggest smile I've ever seen one of the "popular football guys" wear.

suddenly he stopped smiling.

"Is everything alright?"

I didn't notice that I've completely forgot to answer and just stared at the boy in front of me who just introduced himself to me...

"Uh um sorry. I just wasn't prepared of you introducing yourself to me. You know, because I'm not a cool kid!"

"we'll just because I'm cool, doesn't mean I have to be a douche, you know?"

I nodded in replying.

"So what's you name then?"
Nick finally said after a bit of silence.

"Uh sorry, my name is Charlie Spring!"
Nick hold his hands out to shake his with Charlie's

"Nice to meet you Charlie Spring!"

They smiled at each other as the lesson started.

Charlie didn't try to make it noticeable but he checked Nick out. He looked at his big brown eyes and the light brown hairs, that shimmered in the morning sun. The light freckles that spread all over his light beige face. He watched as Nick changed his sitting position and sat very relaxed and with his back at his chair and his arms crossed over his chest.

Charlie didn't know how much of a struggle and even happiness this boy would bring up to him.
