Chapter 1

"Group of 6"

Upon the chilly forest infested with creatures out of our normal world, an orange antenna sticked out of the hole that was dugged on the ground. Soon, it was reveal to be a child around 11 years of age, who was attentively looking around the place, her bright green eyes travelling cautiously from left to right.

She slowly lifted her head from where she remained hidden, exposing her physical appearance. Short, layered, ginger hair hugging the frame of her cute round face, and beautiful lime eyes that reflected the forest beyond her.

"No enemies in sight, let's head out!" The young girl instructed the little children, as she proceeded by getting out of the hole that the other kids hid in. The smile she displayed was enough to convince the little ones that indeed, there were no enemies in sight.

All the children began crawling out with happiness visible on their faces, clearly excited of the new achievement they've made.

'6 days since we entered this forest'

'finally...'

'we're out!'

"Woahh!!" One of the younger boys exclaimed with a big smile, showing everyone how he was overwhelmed with joy. His dark pupils shone from the sun that layed above him. "So huge...!" Another one commented at the wasteland before him.

"Keep heading southwards to arrive at your destination."  A very tall figure adviced the children, it was clear that it was no human.

'Area B06-32!'

The little ones were quick to realize that it meant that it was a farewell to their demon companions. It was to be expected for their dejection to be shown towards the two un-human creatures, after all they saved their lifes and taught them new things for their survival to be guaranteed.

"Nooooooo mujikaaaaa!" The 3 little kids simultaneously whined as they ran to hug the hooded demon girl. "I don't wanna say goodbye!" one of the young girls cried while gripping on to Mujika's long dress.

"Can't you stay with us... a little longer?" A boy begged with a pleading look, small tears adorning his big eyes.

Suddenly, the children that were once upset, ceased to cry as they felt a gentle hand be placed on both their heads. "Stay strong." the owner of the hands spoke, both kids look up at their sibling with the sorrowful look they've worn since their realization. "Ray..." The little girl mumbled between sniffles.

"These two have places to be, too" the ravenette so called "Ray" explained, keeping a brave face for the sake of the little ones even though his gut swirled and twitched, nervous as to how their new journey would be like and what waited beyond them.
