Your p.o.v
It was 6 months into the up all night tour and you missed Niall. You & Niall had known each for years as you both grew up in Mullingar, you were best friends all your lives until you both confessed you love for each other, 2 weeks before he left for the tour. As much as you loved that boy and he begged you to go on tour with them , you couldnt drop out of your last year at uni. You were so close to being a doctor that sacrificing your relationship to finish uni had to happen. Since then you had finished uni and was working 13 hour shifts at your local university hospital.
You weren't expecting Niall back for another 2 weeks. You were going to go to the 1D gig at the o2 , the final gig of the tour , the next time you would see your Ni Ni (your nickname for him).
You were driving back from your last night shift of the month, it was 3am and all ypu wanted to do was sleep. You pulled into the driveway of the house you and Niall shared. You saw lights on in the kitchen . You immediately thought Niall would be home, but he wasn't due back for 2 weeks. You tried to open the door as silently as you could only to find louis looking for carrots. He was Like a brother to you , all the boys were except Niall he was something more , something special. You tiptoed into the kitchen and suprised Louis by tickling his back.
" (Y/N) what was that for" Louis screamed. For a dude he had a pretty high pitched scream. " Lou how comes your here , where are the others aren't you meant to be performing in Manchester tonight".
"we are but 3/5 of us are ill, harry has tonsilitis therfore can't sing, liam has food poisoning after my failed attempt at cooking and Niall overate before the gig and hasn't stopped throwing up" he explained. You were so surprised Niall hadnt come home.
"lou" you asked "wheres Niall,is he ok".
" (Y/N) he's just a bit ill, I thought he would be here already" . Lou seemed confused .
"in gnna go call Niall can you call the others and see of they know where he is boobear"
"sure , I'm sure he's fine"
You headed to your room to call Niall, you dialed his nunber as you knew it off by heart. You heard his phone ringing. Forgetful Niall had left his phone on the side thank god he took his ipad you thought so you could try skyping him. You looked to see if he was online. That's strange you thought, he is always online.
" (Y/N) where are you?, Niall is with harry and liam at mine & harrys flat wanna go visit", you heard Louis yell.
"yeah , of course lemme just find some trainers, do you think there's anything he want me to bring
"Nah , come on let's go before toy story finishes"
"comin" you yell back as you run downthe stairs and out the door.
You unlock your car thinking you would be driving. "get out of your car & get in mine" Lou yells
"okay" you yell back "y we takin your car".
"youve been working all day and you I'm gnna let you drive you must be crazt , no wonder niall insists on picking u up , u r grumpy when your tired aren't ya"
"Enough with the cheeky let's go"you playfully yell back at him
You finally arrive at harry&louis flat. You run to knock on the door but u remember Louis gave you a spare key in case u needed a place to crash that was closer to the hospital. You unlocked the sort and headed straight to the kitchen where you knew you would find Niall, u didn't see him so you went to the living room to ask the other guys.
