They hadn't lied when they told her she was in Hell. Well, in fact Arella was in what seemed like a mansion, but everything was red filled with luxurious furniture in cream or black, and it all matched perfectly. She would had felt excited if it wasn't for... well, her current state. After all, Ari had never been to such place before.
But what had her shocked was a human-sized monster, demon or whatever right in front of her, and Arella let out a loud scream at that. Said demon flinched in surprise, his small horns facing the Lord as he confusedly stared at him in a 'what did I do' look.
The girl hid in the man's neck, trembling and fearing for her life only hoping it was all a nightmare, and she'll soon wake up... To live her usual nightmare, alone in the streets.
No, that didn't matter right then. What was important was why she was holding that man so desperately as if he was a good person, and why there was a damn monster right in front of her.
"Shh, he's ugly and scary, isn't he?" The Lord said, making the demon look hurt but he still walked away in case he did anything wrong again. "Look, Ari. He's gone, he won't hurt you"
"Scary" was all she said, and in her mind she couldn't help but wonder why she was acting that weird and trusty around a man that had probably kidnapped her.
"He is! But look, you made him go away. I'll make sure you don't see him again, alright?"
She nodded but started whining again as her body felt worse every second. It was worse than having fever or anything, it was a weird feeling and Arella wanted it to go away. The girl felt a warm hand being placed in her forehead, probably checking her temperature. He sighed.
"You have no fever, it's just the effects of teleportation. You're too little to handle it. I knew I should have been more gentle"
"Teleportion?" She tiredly asked, hearing him chuckle.
"Teleportation. I had to bring you here, that's why. I promise you'll feel better in a couple hours, but why don't we go eat first?"
When he chuckled is when she finally decided to look at his perfect face, his eyes of a grey color, almost white and shiny. His black hair looked so soft and he had a nice jawline. Everything about him seemed so, so perfect that Arella thought she had never seen someone that handsome before, never.
The Lord was aware of her curious stare but didn't mind. If staring at him like that would made her stop crying and whining, then it was okay. Plus, that was a common reaction from everyone.
She didn't even realize how mesmerized she was until they reached another room, which had a long, really long table in the middle, but thankfully no one was there. The man sat her on his lap on a empty chair, but Arella was still facing his chest too afraid to look at her surroundings or anything.
A few minutes later, another 'monster' entered the room, but this one looked different. He had a dog's head or something similar, and even though she should had felt terrified at seeing it, the girl couldn't help but curiously watch him as he served dinner (or lunch, since she didn't even know what time it was. However, it was a steak and some vegetables).
"He looks like a doggy" she unconsciously whispered to herself, making the 'dog' man blush (if that was possible) and the Lord laugh.
"He does, doesn't he?"
The demon left and they were alone again, so Arella felt shy all of a sudden. Why the hell was she sat in that random creature's lap so comfortably?
"Open up"
Of course, she didn't. But it wasn't her fault, the girl could barely move or speak, but she also feared what he could do to her if she didn't obey. It was scary and stressing.
"I promise it's the best steak you'll ever eat, food here tastes different. Just some bites and I'll stop insisting, princess"
"I don't want to, I wanna go home"
He sighed, but Arella was definitely hungry even if she wouldn't admit it. At the same time, making that strange man angry wouldn't help at all. She was too stressed, because of how poorly she felt, how the man that kidnapped her was holding her like she was a doll and, well, the amount of monsters she had seen. But deciding it'd be best not to make him upset, Arella accepted the food after insisting a few more times.
"That's a good girl, how is it?"
As soon as she started chewing on the meat, her eyes lit up. It was definitely the most delicious steak she had ever tried, and even the vegetables were the best. In a matter of minutes, Arella finished the plate.
He didn't have any intentions to hurt her, but she didn't know that. Why would he feed her if he was going to make any harm? It was ridiculous. But anyway, as soon as she finished she heard more praising that only made her feel like a little child. Somehow she didn't mind. It was as if she became a different person.
Her eyes started to drop while he stroked her blonde hair, that and he rubbing her back softly definitely made her feel sleepy. Part of her was begging for going to sleep, but the other one was fighting against sitting there on his captor's lap. Even though it was so damn comfortable...
"Let me go" Ari mumbled. Why am I getting sleepy? I need to go!
"I know this is too much. You just need time to adjust"
"I... My father. He needs me"
"No, he doesn't. You'll see it one day, baby. He belongs here" he mumbled the last part to himself, but he didn't really mean it. How could that man let her own daughter pay for his own mistakes? She looked so damn tired and stressed.
Arella wanted so bad to fight that feeling, but couldn't. After a few minutes, the girl fell asleep, and she only felt her being moved into another room along with some whispering she didn't even comprehend.
