The classroom was quiet again. Just how he liked it.Jeon Jungkook erased the last equation from the board with clean, practiced strokes, his thoughts already ten steps ahead—scheduling the next lecture, adjusting the syllabus, remembering to file that report for the Dean’s office.
Everything needed to be in place. He didn’t tolerate mess. Not in numbers. Not in schedules. Not in life.
Which is why Park Jimin bothered him more than he wanted to admit.
Jungkook returned to his office after the lecture, setting his tablet down with a bit more force than usual. His fingers adjusted the angle precisely, then he sat down in his chair, back straight, posture perfect—as always.
But his mind?
Not as composed.
That sketch. That ridiculous little drawing. Him, with steam coming out of his head like some overcooked cartoon. Thunderclouds. Angry birds.
Childish. Disrespectful.
...Funny.
He scowled at himself immediately for even thinking it. That’s not how a student should behave. Not in his class. Not when he was giving knowledge, structure, discipline—everything that mattered.
Still, the image lingered.
And worse, Jimin’s face lingered.
Wide eyes. That slightly panicked expression when he realized Jungkook was watching. The way he floundered for an excuse. Then that hint of defiance—sass hidden behind embarrassment. Like he didn’t care, but very clearly did.
Jungkook didn’t argue with nobodies. He didn’t pay attention to disruptions. He had spent his entire adult life building walls tall enough to keep everything—and everyone—out.
But there was something about that boy. Something... unsettling.
He leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes for a moment.
It was just a student. A careless, overly expressive, distracted student. That’s all.
He opened his eyes and turned to his laptop, clicking to open the attendance records for the course.
“Park Jimin,” he muttered under his breath as he found the name.
For some reason, his cursor hovered over it for longer than necessary.
Then he shook his head.
“Focus.”

Jimin's pov
I slammed my tray down on the cafeteria table like it had personally betrayed me.
Taehyung blinked at me mid-bite, a forkful of pasta halfway to his mouth. “Someone’s dramatic today.”
“Dramatic?” I deadpanned. “I ruined the day of a terrifyingly handsome man, spilled coffee all over him, got roasted in front of an entire class, and may or may not have accidentally drawn him as an angry demon on paper.”
He chewed thoughtfully. “So... Tuesday?”
I glared at him. “This is serious, Tae.”
Taehyung sighed and pushed his plate aside like he was preparing for a full-on therapy session. “Okay. Start from the beginning. And don’t skip the juicy details.”
