Joui's Pov...
"I'm sorry for introducing myself this late. My name is Joui Nachtnoir." Everytime I say my name, I really don't--
"Nachtnoir? I think I've heard that name before." So he really is familiar with my name, well, he's a Transkvic so its natural.
---Joui..
Huh? What?
"Anyways, my name is Leon, Leon Transkvic. I believe you too know my name."
---Joui..
What? Who is..
"I-I'm sorry Leon, I am not feeling too good." I stood up but everything around me immediately started spinning.
I then took one step and suddenly..
*Thud**Flashback*
"JOUI!!" I'm hearing a loud voice, and it sounds like.. *sits up quickly* My mother!!
"Hay nako bata ka!! Kailan ka ba matuto?!" I hear footsteps outside the door of my room and it gets louder and louder as they get close.
All I could do is to tuck myself deeper in my worn-out bed and..
"Natutulog ka nanaman?!! Hindi mo ba alam kung gaano na tayo nag hihirap?! Wala ka talagang silbi!!"
After the all the things she said to me.. all I could hear of whiplashes of a belt and the steel buckle of it hitting me multiple times..
As if the world around me went silent. And I can only hear the impacts of it on me and the flesh it made contact actually swelling.
And after quite some time..
"Bumangon ka na jan! papasok ka pa. sana naman kahit pag aaral lang matapos mo. Lumayas ka na dito!"
She threw away the belt at the corner of my room, she then slammed the door as she gets out of my room. And me on the other hand, held in my screams and tears as she whipped me with that belt.
*At school*
*School bell rings*Oh, its already time for the second class. I didn't get much sleep plus what happened earlier. At the end, I didn't get to pay much attention in the class.
Even so, I'm still a first year in college, age of 18. And i'm not much amazed that I have no friends in school nor outside the school, my family is not that religious too.
And who even wants to become friends with me, a girl who comes to school with bruises on her arms, legs, and face? Its funny, This is why I still don't have a boyfriend.
*After the second class*
*Lunch*After the class, and with much dozing off.. I got to the cafeteria and got my Lunch. And to every tables I went, they always act as if there is no open space at their table.
---It hurts..
But its fine, I'm just gonna sit here at the corner of the cafeteria. I actually find it fun being alone. No one to talk to, or get nervous with. No nothing.
"Hey," To my surprise, a female student sat beside me with her lunch. She is good looking when I looked at her, and that beautiful voice, she may be the maiden of their class.
"Why are you here by yourself?"
She asked, whilst she puts down her lunch beside mine.I didn't spoke to her for quite sometime while we ate. Its funny, eating together with a complete stranger at the corner of the cafeteria.
When we finished eating, the bell rang which notifies the students to get back to their classrooms.
"Hey, you can trust me." She said to me whilst I stood up. And I carried my tray back to the counter.
