Why are Diamonds compared with Pearls? though they belong to different worlds. Pearls are hidden deep within the seas, Diamonds are dug from the depth of mines.
Diamonds are costly but so are Pearls, They both look stunning on all the girls, Diamonds are hard and so are Pearls, They are very popular among the Royals.
Diamonds and Pearls shine with light, They make a man bow in Delight, Diamonds and Pearls make two people fight, But their combination creates a beautiful sight.
Now, Why am I always compared with others? Though I am doing my best in all of my works, Others may bring home knowledge and marks, When I can present to you my finest arts.
Why do you consider others as the best? Ignoring my talents which are the greatest. Why do you hurt me and call me a pest? When I am special among the rest.
Do not compare me with others, If you do, do it with different measures. like Gold is weighed in kgs and Milk in litres, Maybe you should compare me with people who share my interests.
We are all different but unique, Like two Halves of one Masterpiece, Emitting light in different colours, Shining like Diamonds and Pearls...
