You walked into the BAU at Quantico for your first day on the job. You had worked with the team before when there was a case in your town, but you had been back to school and decided to work in the BAU. You were hoping the whole team was still together, but you wanted to see one person in particular, JJ. The two of you went out on a date after they solved the case, but then she had to leave. Not a day had gone by that you hadn't thought about her. You heard her voice.
"Okay, so I made chocolate cupcakes for everyone just because I love you guys." She was telling the team.
Everyone except her saw you and you saw their eyes light up a little. You raised your finger to your lips to tell them not to say anything and smirked a little.
'I'd prefer vanilla." You said from behind her.
She turned around quickly and a smile broke out on her face.
"Y/N! What are you doing here?" She asked, coming in for a hug.
"Well, I work here now. Technically, I work with you now." You told her, wrapping your arms around her tightly.
"We wanted it to be a surprise, JJ." Hotch said, a slight smile ok his face.
"She talked about you all the time." You smiled, looking at her.
She turned to look at you and blushed lightly.
"You'll have to let me take you on a second date sometime soon." You said.
She nodded and the team tried to stifle their laughs.
