Grey POV

I never believed in the whole "light at the end of the tunnel" myth, yet here I was in this so-called "tunnel". If I'm here, then I must have died, but I couldn't remember how. Was I assassinated? Poisoned? Maybe it's because of a natural death, but it doesn't really matter, does it? After an eternity of looking around, I decided to approach the light. A flurry of colors proceeded to attack my eye as I opened it .

While my eyes adjusted to my new surroundings, I heard a voice saying, "Congratulations, Sir and Madam." He's a healthy boy. " A truck-sized realization hit me: had I just been reborn, and that light was the entrance of a female vag..? I thought, "Her face resembles that of a caring mother with her soft textured face and kind-looking eyes," Looking at the other side of the room, his eyes gazed at a young adult-looking man with ashy dark brown hair and blue eyes. The man was crying with a huge smile on his face and then said, "Hey there little Art, I'm your daddy. Can you say "Dada?"

The person that I presumed was my mom rolled her eyes and proceeded to say, "Honey, he was just born." Looking at the doctor, Alice asked, "Is there anything wrong with him? Aren't babies supposed to cry?" The doctor responded, "Mr. and Mrs. Leywin, do not be alarmed by little Arthur's lack of crying since there are some cases where newborns don't cry," said the doctor.

Fast forward 2 years.

Arthur POV

Right now, I am currently 2 years of age and can finally start to crawl. Looking out the window I saw a bunch of wooden and cobblestone houses with dirt roads. It made me think of how real this medieval time I was in. While I was lost in thought, it was finally time for my mother to go grocery shopping, and to my surprise she decided to finally bring me along. Observing the wooden stalls I noticed people here would usually carry around different sorts of weapons, from swords to spears, and some people would carry a weird looking wand, "BOOM." I suddenly looked around to see where the sound came from. What I saw was shocking: a person in a dark red robe was using magic. I thought to myself, maybe there was more to this world than I originally thought.

While at home, I decided to devise a plan to enter the study room while no one was looking. While my mother was busy washing the dishes, I hastily made my way to the room without making the floor creak.

"Mission success!" I thought to myself, looking around the room. I found a book called "Fool's Guide to Dicathen."

As I read the book, I learned there were four major parts of the continent with three main races: the Elves, who resided in the kingdom of Elenoir, the Dwarves, who lived in the kingdom of Darv, and us humans, who lived in the kingdom of Sapin. And the beast glades, where mana beasts run free.

Then I took a new book that said "Beginner's Guide for the Privileged Mage".

Flipping through the pages, I learned that 1 in 100 people are blessed with mana. Mana can be used to augment your body to boost your strength and heighten your senses. While conjurers who utilize their elemental affinity to cast spells and affect the surrounding area. For humans, they can use all four elements and their deviants. For lightning, ice, sound, and gravity, with the added bonus of emitters who can heal. Dwarves however can use fire and earth with the deviants of metal and magma, whereas elves can only use water, wind, and earth with the deviants of sound and plant.

A Mana Core is classified into six colors: black, red, orange, yellow, silver, and white. One's mana color starts off as black due to the body's blood and other impurities mixed with the mana particles as they form together into a mana core. Each stage of the mana core colors is split into three shades(dark, solid, and light), except silver, which is split into initial, mid, and high, and white core, which does not have stages. In general, the lighter the mana core color, the purer one's mana core was. Therefore, there was more power one could have access to.
