CALI'S POV:

"Macy come on! We're going to be late if you don't hurry up!"

"Okay! Okay! Give me a minute!"

"You said that 10 minutes ago!"

No response. Typical Macy. She takes forever to get ready in the morning. Especially school mornings, specifically the first day.

Yeah. It's the first day of school. We're going to be sophomores. Oh yeah. Did I mention that we're twins?

It's actually pretty cool. We're almost never separated from each other. We share everything. From clothes to friends.

"Okay! I'm coming!" She came running down the stairs. I swear she was going to fall.

"Bye mom!" I yelled.

"Oh here you need these!" She threw my keys at me. "And we're going out to dinner tonight! Be ready by 6!"

We yelled okay and walked out.

"You ready?" Macy asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I laughed.

"Then let's go!"

The whole car ride we were jamming out. We arrived at school and all our friends ran to us. We're not "popular", but we're well known around the school.

"Hey guys! How was your summer?!"

"Alexis you dum dum. You know we were all together 95% of the time." Macy hit her behind the head.

"Ow!" We all laughed. We have those friendships where we all insult each other, but then when someone needs a friend, we're there. But we all have pretty simple lives.

"Okay guys. Schedules!"

Macy and I have 8/8 classes together, so yay.

"Okay, Alexis we have 7/8 classes together. Derek we have 6/8 classes. Cameron we have 7/8 and Danny we have 6/8 together." I spoke aloud.

"Well it seems we all have lunch together so aye turn up."

"Derek shut up."

"Wow. Twin telepathy." We just flipped them off. Derek picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, as Cameron did to Macy.

"Let us down damn it." I yelled.

"If you don't let us down I-I-"

"You'll what Macy?" She just sighed really loudly, so did I.

"Awe. Do the twins give up?" We just stayed silent.

They eventually let us down and we walked into the school.

We went by our lockers and just talked until the bell.

"Who ever gets to first period last has to buy lunch." Macy and I bolted. We aren't going to spend money on them. ✋

We were first, but we were heavily breathing.

"Cali, I-I think we should start getting into shape."

"But pizza, Macy. Pizza."

"True. Screw getting into shape."

Everyone came up and Derek and Cameron came at the same time, in last place.

"That's what you deserve." Macy huffed.

"Yeah, yeah don't pick anything expensive."

The class started to pile up and the first bell rang. We took our seats in the back.
