"This is awful.." You said as you walked over each skeleton.
"That's not even the worst of it." Uraraka says while holding a shotgun, "The Nomus that were created by Shigaraki ended up surviving the nuclear blast. They became much more stronger and terrifying."
So there are radioactive Nomus after all.
"Don't tell me that they also got bigger." You shivered at the thought of those things.
"Some have, but they don't come in this area so we should be safe." She said, "The smaller ones that we might bump into are easy to destroy. Those are the failed experiments from Shigaraki's previous work."
Just how much of these things did he make?
"Well I do have one question, how did you all survive the blast? I mean.. wouldn't this city have already gotten radiation? The air could've been poisonous." You poked a skull with your foot as its jaw opens wide and spiders began crawling out, making you shudder with discomfort.
"The explosion was large and it did give off radiation for quite some time, but it wasn't much of a high level of poison that it had. Later on as time went by, the gas faded away so we were able to breathe again. It wasn't easy to process that everything you knew and loved ends up getting destroyed while fighting for air." The short haired brunette walks beside you as she looks around her surroundings, hoping no hybrid Nomus would appear.
"I wish I can remember.." You said, "So far, Mina told me that I was in a fight with Bakugo before he knocked me out. I couldn't believe it."
"It is hard to believe, but it's true." She held a small frown, "You and Bakugo had gotten into an argument somewhere in the school's yard and you both ended up using your quirks against each other. Mina tried to stop the fight, but she only got caught with one of Bakugo's attacks."
Bakugo and I fought?
This made you feel rather uneasy. A fight between you and Bakugo? Sure you've gone up against him during training, but to end an argument with physical force? How could someone that you knew and cared about, knock you down and made you go unconscious? Possibly killing you? You felt betrayed. But you also felt a bit of rage stirring in your chest. He didn't had to go that far, but it made you wonder on what you did that triggered him to become so aggressive and violent.
"Is that how she lost sight of her left eye?" You guessed. When you first saw Mina, you saw that one of her eyes had a light gray iris and a white pupil compared to her other healthy eye. She never mentioned it and you didn't want to ask since it might've been rude or too much for her to handle.
She nods, "He showed no remorse to any of us. After that.. Deku also became violent.. what he did.. he made me feel like there was no hope for him."
You felt worried, but you had to ask, "..What did he do?"
