(Part 2!!! I'm hoping for this Bandit part story thing to be multiple chapters long... so be prepared. I really like writing this Bandit thing, especially since I've never seen any Bandit Heeler x Reader things... 😨. I'm flabbergasted cuz like have you seen him?! Anyway,)

"So, what happened? If you don't mind me askin', that is," Bandit asked, pouring (Y/N) a cup of water and handing it over to her. Sitting on the couch, cold and afraid, (Y/N) looked away timidly, "My friends all kinda... ditched me. They didn't answer any of my messages after I said I arrived in Brisbane and when I went over to their house, they all said they couldn't take me in; but that's when I remembered your kind offer. I felt bad, but... I desperately needed a place to stay, especially with the current weather."
Bandit cringed as he listened to her story, "Yea, that sounds pretty rough... Tell ya what, you can stay here for as long as you need until you can find your own place to stay, okay?"
(Y/N) gasped, placed the cup of water down on the side table, and then held out her paws, arguing, "I-I didn't mean for this to happen! I really just needed one night!"
Bandit sighed, "Listen, I know you mean well and all, but I heard what you said back in that store: you don't have much money ... not to mention you could barely afford the water bottles! Plus, there's no way you're gonna find another cool guy such as myself to take you in, now will you?"
(Y/N) blushed in embarrassment as she watched Bandit smirk playfully before she shook her head, looking down at the floor feeling defeated.
"Now, please accept my offer and no more arguments, alright? Please?" Bandit pleaded, making (Y/N) sigh. She paused for a moment before responding, "Fine. But, I will pay you back eventually."
"Fair enough," Bandit smiled before asking, "Would you like something to eat? I have some snacks in the fridge that I could go and grab if you'd like."
(Y/N) shrugged, "I think I'm good for now. But thank you."
"Sure," Bandit grabbed the TV remote, "Now what's on TV?"
Bandit began flipping through the channels until he came across a channel they could both agree on and began watching.
After a while, Bandit began to notice how (Y/N) would randomly start to nod off ... before regaining her posture and holding herself up the best she could before repeating those very same steps. Bandit couldn't help but chuckle before he suggested, "Are you tired? I have a guest room if you'd like to stay in there. It has a pretty comfortable bed."
(Y/N) yawned before smiling, "S...Sure. I could deal with that. And I am pretty tired..."
"I can tell," Bandit added, the two of them laughing before Bandit stood up and ushered her to follow him to see the room. (Y/N) grabbed her bags and followed him.
He opened up the door to the room and entered, allowing (Y/N) to enter after him. He looked around, "It's not perfect, but it should work."
"Yea, it'll do," (Y/N) turned to Bandit, "Thank you so much for doing this. I just met you today and you already feel like someone I've known for years! You've already invited me to stay with you and bought me water because I couldn't afford it... you're too kind."
Bandit laughed, "It's not every day I do this, y'know. You just... seemed like you were struggling a bit back there so I offered what I could."
"Well, you offered more than you had to," she playfully smirked before she grabbed her suitcase and threw it in the middle of the room, throwing her bag onto the suitcase afterward.
(Y/N) turned toward Bandit once more, "Again, thank you."
She embraced him in a short yet warm hug, making both of their tails wag as Bandit returned the short hug.
A quick moment passed and they let go.
Bandit turned off the light - the room now only being lit by the barely lit lamp that sat on the nightstand - and exited the room. But, before closing the door, he added, "Have a good night, (N/N)!"
He then immediately shut the door on her, leaving her with wide eyes, only to quickly burst out into a fit of quiet giggles at the new nickname.
Once she calmed down, she turned to the bed that laid in the corner of the room and laid on top of it, resting her hands behind her head as she thought:
'(N/N)... That's a new one. I like it.'
She then reached over to the lamp that laid on the nightstand and turned it off.
