Gaara showed up at Sakura's house. She had called everyone to a meeting but she didn't say why. He went inside only to see most of the people had already arrived. He went and sat in the living room next to his sister Temari. After about ten minutes the rest of the group arrived and Sakura got ready to make her announcement.

"Alright now that everyone is here now we can start. I have decided with Ino that we would throw a Christmas in July party!"
She stated proudly in a Christmas hat.

"What's that?"
Naruto questioned as he did not understand the term.
"I thought Christmas was in December."

Sakura sighed at his ignorant comment.

"Naruto it's just a thing people do sometimes I'm not explaining it to you.  Anyway we've also decided to do a secret Santa because we have two weeks before the party. "
Sakura says enthusiastically.

"Alright! This is exciting!"
Lee says in a super excited tone.

"Okay guys come up and pick a name out of the hat and that is who you buy for. "
Ino said holding out a hat that a bunch of little papers in it.

They all got up and approached Ino with the hat and one by one they each took a pice of paper with a name on it.

• Lee's pov (Third person) •

He unfolded the piece of paper and read the name to himself.

'Gaara...hm...Challenge excepted!'

He thought to himself as he looked up and scanned the room for Gaara. He smiled happily.

'How can I figure out what to get for him. Let me ask Sakura'

He thought to him self as he approached Sakura.

"Um...Sakura...How do you figure out what your perosn likes if you don't know?"

"Oh! Who did you get let me see."
She asked excitedly.

Lee handed her his paper. She examined the name that was written on the small piece of paper that she was handed.

"Hm...I don't know much about him. Maybe you should try hanging out with him. You know, to see what he is interested in."

"Okay! Thanks Sakura-chan!"
He replied happily as he walked away. He approached Gaara as he stuffed the piece of paper in his pocket.

"Hello Gaara! Who did you get? To buy for I mean."
He questioned with a smile.

"Why do you ask?"
Gaara interrogated thinking about how Lee may have an alternative motive.

"I was just curious."
He lied trying to seem believable.

"Hm...well if you must know I got Neji."

"Oh! Neji is one of my best friends!"
He replied happily.

"Hm? Oh really? Maybe you could help me shop for him or something."
He said hesitantly not wanting to have help.

"Well that sounds like a great idea!"
Lee exclaimed in a proud voice feeling as if he is needed.

"Alright your all dismissed!"
Sakura stated.

"So this is why you made us all come here? What a drag."
Shikamaru said as he sighed.

Lee and Gaara left Sakura's house together. They both were strolling through the village silently.

"So...do you want to go and get some to eat?"
Lee asked Gaara who seemed to be in his own world.

"On me! I'll pay!"
He stated excitedly

" Sure I guess. Where are we going to eat? "

"Ichiraku's Ramen!"
He smiled brightly at Gaara.

"Alright then let's go."
