"Lizzy!" I heard Ben call. "Liz please and answer! Liz! Liz! Lizzy! Liz!"

I finally decided to answer. "What?!"

"Oh my god! Liz where have you been! You've been ignoring me and when I found out you didn't bring your talkie with you I was worried sick!"

"Sorry. Just busy."

"I missed you so much!"

"Yeah.. I bet you miss your girlfriend more. Why don't you talk to her instead." I was about to turn it off but he kept talking.

"Come on Liz. Don't be like that. You know I love you and only you. Right?"

I sigh. "Yeah.. I know."

"Wait, I think Sally wants to talk to me. I'll be back soon!"

"Oh o-" he left. "-kay.."

After a long time of waiting. I decided to go talk to my other friends. They're nicer then Vicky, Sally and Maya. The people in this group are my friends Emma, Jessie, Oliver and Cristian. Luckily, when I went to talk to them, they were all there talking.

"Oh hey Liz" Jessie said.

"Hi guys!" I said.

"Did you guys hear that Sally and Ben are dating?" Cristian asked.

"What?" Oliver said. "I thought Liz and Ben were a couple. Did you guys break up or something?"

"What?" I asked. "Ben and I never dated. Why would you think that?"

"Because you two are always flirting." Emma answered.

"Well.. I don't know. He either likes me or he's manipulating me."

"Why would he manipulate you?" Cristian asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong and he does like me. I don't know why he's dating Sally though. Whatever, let's change the subject."

"Sure." Oliver said.

"How about we meet up at Maine Park?" Emma suggested.

We all agreed and decided to hang out at Maine Park then go out to eat.

4 hours later.

I got home and lied down on my bed. I was exhausted. Today has been a longer day then I expected. I then notice that Ben has been trying to reach out to me. So I grab my talkie.

"Hey Ben" I say.

"Liz where have you been? It's been 4 hours!"

"Sorry. I went out to eat with Jessie, Em, Cristian and Oliver."

"You went without me?"

"You were talking to you girlfriend Sally." I tried to stay calm when I said that.

"Liz.. just because I'm dating someone else doesn't mean I love you any less. I'll never stop caring about you because I found someone 'new.' You know I love you, right?"

"Then why didn't you reject her?!"

No reply. I knew he wouldn't reply.

"Whatever it doesn't matter.." I say quietly. "We're just friends who flirt daily. Nothing more nothing less."

"Look I'm sorry! I'm scared of messing up our relationships like I did with my other relationships"

"That's fine. I'll try keeping our relationship long lasting. I think I'm good at that."

He laughed. "Of course you are. But I'm not so good at it. Anyway, let's change the subject. Wanna fall asleep together on here? I'm getting tired."

"Okay." I smile as I tuck myself into bed.

"Goodnight Liz. I love you."

"I love you too Ben."

Next morning: 7am

I woke up to my walkie talkie telling me Sally wants to talk to me. That's odd though. Sally never wants to talk to me.

"Ben?" I whisper. He's still asleep. So I decide to switch stations to talk to her.

"Elizabeth." She says.

Oh god. "What do you want Sally? It's 7am.."

"Are you and Ben dating?"

Weird. "Why do you wanna know?"

"Oh my god it's a yes or no question."

"I mean it's complicated.."

"Okay good."

"Why's that good?"

"Ohhh nothingg.."

"Sally.. why won't you tell me?"

It took a while to answer but she said "I cant tell you. You'll snitch and tell Ben since you tell him everything."

"I promise I won't tell Ben. Now what's going on?"

"You wanna know what Elizabeth? You are so popular in this town. Everyone loves you for everything you do. But what do you have that I don't? Ben treats you better then anyone else. Even me. HIS GIRLFRIEND! And you just tell me your relationship is complicated because I know you Liz. You suck at relationships. I find it so annoying how Ben is always bringing you up in every conversation. 'Lizzy this' 'Lizzy that' it's so annoying! I think more people think you and him are dating instead of me and him. And when I tell them that me and him are dating they say 'Oh.. I think Liz and Ben would make a better couple' and the worst part is they say it all to my face! God, this is all your fault! Why can't you just disappear?!"

That left me really shocked. And in a way, I felt bad for her. "Look Sally, I'm really sorry. You shouldn't be treated like that at all but I promise this isn't my fault-"

"Just shut up already! God, you're such an attention seeker and think you're so perfect but in reality you're full of bullshit. Is it that hard to stay away from MY boyfriend?"

Now I was getting really mad. "Are you seriously going to throw all this shit on me? Even after I've done nothing to you? You're just a two faced bitch! This friendship between us is over. Never talk to me again." I changed stations and went back to Ben. "Sorry I left, are you awake yet?"

No answer. I tried going back to bed but I thought about what Sally told me. Maybe she was right. I mean I understand what she's going through. And she doesn't deserve it. Sure, she's a bitch, but she doesn't deserve all of that. Maybe I should stay away from him now that him and Sally are dating. I turned off my talkie and just laid down, looking at my ceiling.

BEN POV
"Good morning- oh.. she's gone.." Why did she leave? I was gonna call for her but it seemed like Sally wanted to talk to me. Ugh, what did she want now.

"Benny babe! I have to show you something!" She said.

I hate that name. Benny babe. It's so weird. "What is it?"

She played me a recording of what I think is Liz calling Sally a two faced bitch. "Is that Liz?"

"Yeah! She was yelling at me for no reason! I don't know what I did!"

That's weird. Liz isn't the type to do that. "I'll talk to her"

"Thanks Benny babe"

She really needs to stop calling me that.
