Anna's POV

"RING RING RING"

Here we go again I thought reaching for my phone to stop the ringing before I threw it at my wall

I was contemplating just laying there and going back to sleep but then I remember....college

It always the same thing everyday wake up,get coffee,go to school, do my stupid job,homework, sleep

It's an endless loop and to be honest I don't really know why I do it

Mostly because Sophia makes me. Sophia's my roommate we share a flat while we are both in college.

I met her through the cafe she works at and we became friends. She's always been really supportive and caring.  Honestly I would probably be drowning in a random river somewhere if she wasn't in my life.

She didn't have any classes today all she had was her shift later. I remember because she reminded me not to wake her up.

I finally got out of bed and got dressed. I honestly couldn't give two flying fucks what I look like but it's not like I can show up to class in a giraffe onesie.

After that I just brushed my hair and put on light make up so that I didn't look like I just rose from my grave.

After putting on mg shoes I grabbed my keys and bag then headed off. I don't have a car but it's not like I need one. It's honestly just easier and cheaper to walk.

I headed down to the cafe that Sophia works at. It is a little small and not that popular but they make great coffee and the people are really nice.

Soph wasn't going to be there yet but I wasn't going to survive unless I had coffee. Food can wait though.

I walked in heading the familiar chime of the bell as I entered.  Justin greeted me with a big smile. It's always nice to see him. She's been working here for a long time, maybe since the place has been open.

He's a great person to help cheer you up in the lowest situations. I walked up to him and he looked really excited. It was like he's was waiting all night to tell me.

"Anna I'm so happy your here," he said still smiling.

"Hey Justin how are you" I said smiling so I would seem rude.

He replied rather quickly saying, "Im great and I have really exciting news."

"What is it," I was now super intrigued and needed to know what had happened.

"Sooooo you know how I've been talking to Noah"

"Yeah"

"Well lets just say HES MY BOYFRIEND NOW," he said practically screaming.

(Forgot to mention he's gay but just push past that)I was so happy for him he's never been able to get into a relationship. I was about to jump over the counter and give him a big hug but we ended up just hi-fiving. I knew I was going to hear all about it later and honestly I don't mind.

Eventually we changed topics to what I was getting. "I just have what I always get" I said calmly.

I slide my card into the machine paying for the drink.

"Ok coming right up a (insert coffee order)" he says naming my exact order while walking over to the machines.

After a few minutes I hear my name being called to get my drink. I grab it and wave goodbye to Justin before heading off.

I put my headphones in and start playing puppy princess by hot freaks. I was in the middle of texting Sofia to tell her I was on my way to college when I felt a huge amount of pressure push against me.

a/n- this is short and my first book so it's not great. Since no one is going to see this the music will be mostly my taste.
