The class went silent.
"You can't just... end the club. Come on, the year has barely started! It's only October... we barely even got to sing..." Eddie cried, tossing his hands up in the air angrily. Richie placed a hand on his shoulder, settling him down.
"I know, I know. There just isn't enough funding. I'm sorry guys, I'm really sorry." Mr. Pennywise frowned. The last thing he wanted to do was disappoint these children. It was his first year managing the glee club, and it had already gone to shit.

"You mean to say we're already done? You're kidding." Mike Wheeler exclaimed. He grabbed his bag and swung it over his shoulder aggressively, grabbing Will's hand. "Come on, let's go. We should have never joined this shitty club anyways." He glared at Professor Vecna before walking about, Will Byers in his hand.
Lucas, Max, Dustin, El, Robin, Nancy, Steve, Jonathan, and Eddie watched the two walk out. Dustin sighed. They considered if it really was a dumb idea to join the new glee club. People picked on them for joining, maybe this funding issue was a blessing in disguise.
"I'm sorry about my brother, he's dramatic. Mr. Vecna, are you sure there's no way we could deal with this?" Nancy suggested with a slight smile, an attempt at comfort.

"Well, I guess, there's... one thing... we could do but..." Mr. Vecna cringed at the possibility. It was exactly what he wanted to avoid at all costs; the main reason he'd created his own glee club. But, he couldn't just let his students down, right? He closed his eyes shut and groaned. Just thinking about what needed to be done made his blood boil... he made his blood boil.

The kids returned to their classes and dorms, leaving the two professors to think. Mr. Pennywise sipped his Americano alone at his desk and Mr. Vecna sat with his head in his hands while his students were finishing their work. The silence was broken by a quiet knock and "ahem" of a kind lady from the office.
"Headmaster Lodge would like to see you, sir." She smiled and nodded, waiting for the professor to leave.
By the time Mr. Pennywise had gotten to Headmaster Lodge's office, Mr. Vecna was already there. Oh god. He knew this meeting was about to be a living hell, and coming from Pennywise himself, that really meant something.

"As you two know, we have to disband the glee clubs due to funding issues." Hiram cracked his knuckles mischievously, followed by a threatening neck crack. He stood up, arms folded in a menacing manner. "But... you know, there is one simple way to solve this issue." He made his way around to standing behind the two professors, a hand on the back of each of their seats. Headmaster Lodge looked at each with an evil smile.
The three stayed like that in silence for a good minute. Hiram continued, pleased by the poorly hidden ferocity on Vecna's and Pennywise's faces.
"If you two just combined your glee clubs, then everything would be just fine and dandy!" Hiram went back to his seat, rapping his fingers on the desk waiting for a reply. He knew what he was doing. The tension between Vecna and Pennywise was so thick you could cut with an ax, some may say.
"No way in hell" replied Pennywise.
"Yeah, never in a million years," exclaimed Vecna at the same time. They both turned to look at eachother, faces red. Vecna coughed awkwardly, followed by a tense silence.
Headmaster Lodge chuckled to himself, shaking his head. "You see, the two of you will never get anything done with this hatred for each other. Either work together or no glee club."
