Prompt: Everything became perfect for a certain barmaid, just until her crush came in.
Mira skipped about when she thought of a brilliant plan. She praised herself and fangirled behind the counter. It was so full proof, nobody and NOBODY would destroy her plans this time.
She skipped to a hidden room below the guildhall. The room was quite dark, but the torch she held was enough to make her see clearly.
Mira sighed in content when she found out that no one's been snooping around her stuff. She looked sideways to make sure the final time.
The silver haired girl slid a blanket off to reveal a huge board with plans and scripts.
Plans like: NaLu, GaLe, GrUvia, JeRza, etc.
The female cracked her knuckles and gripped on her pen.
"Time to get to work!"
A Few Plans Later...
"Natsu, Lucy!" Mira ran up to the duo who were going to hang out at the park.
"Yes, Mira?" Lucy turned around.
"I really need you to come to the guild later. There are some boxes coming around at 9:00 later at the evening. I need you to pick them up and sign the papers for me." The barmaid started to wear a hat.
"Why can't you do it?" Lucy asked. Something's off...
"It's because Lissanna and I," She paused and grabbed a random Lissanna, "—need to uhmm..." Mira nudged her younger sister at the back.
"We need to pick up a baby dog...?" Lissanna smiled sheepishly and she could feel the scary aura that was emitting from her sister.
Lucy tapped her chin and narrowed her eyes at the Strauss siblings.
Lissanna grabbed a random Elfman. "And Elfman's getting a baby rhino!"
"Getting a baby rhino is a MAN!"
Lucy, who seemed convinced enough, agreed and left.
"What are you up to again this time, Sis?" Lissanna pushed Elfman away, to where he can't hear their current conversation, and to where he can join the daily guild brawls.
"Oh, you'll see."
Then...
"Okay! Everything's set!" Mira clasped her hands and thanked Freed for the runes he have installed.
Entrapment runes.
The Entrapment runes work when two people step inside the guild. Once two, ONLY TWO, have entered the hall, the runes start to activate.
Runes will disappear once two people kiss each other. We hold no therapeutic claims.
After the narrator have explained the contents of the installed runes, she quickly exited the guild.
Meanwhile...
"Man, Laxus! The mission's over! Can we have a drink?!" Bickslow crossed his arms.
"A drink! A drink!" His tiki dolls copied.
"Whatever. Freed was missing out today." Evergreen fanned herself.
Laxus just grumbled. "I'm going to the guild."
Bickslow followed and got busy for a while with his 'babies'. Laxus went first. There were no people in the guild hall. Just a bunch of... empty chairs.
Laxus scanned the area and he sensed it.
"Oh! I forgot my keys!"
Holy shit...
"Mira! Don't!"
Mira stepped into the guild and gasped. The runes started to rise up from the ground. The female berated herself about being so dumb.
"Entrapment runes." Laxus breathed and his exhale became shaky.
Mira blushed out of nowhere and went behind the counter.
Rune writings appeared in the door's way. It read:
These Entrapment runes can be gone when the two people who are in the area get intimate. So I suggest that you DO IT NOW!
"What the..." Laxus raised his brow up and turned to the barmaid who made an 'Eep!' and hid behind the counter.
His face turned amused when she started to shiver. Laxus came closer and picked her up by the collar.
"Explain."
She froze at his baritone voice and sighed in defeat.
"One, these runes were supposedly for Natsu and Lucy. Two, I worked so hard for this. Three, you just FUCKING RUINED MY SHIP'S MOMENTO!" She practically screamed.
Laxus raised a brow up. She shivered again.
"These are spacial barriers where the inside can see the outside but the outside can't see what's inside." Mira pouted cutely and looked at the opposite direction.
"And how exactly are we going to get out of this?"
"A-ano..." She started to do kissy gestures with her hands.
Laxus placed her on the counter. He gave her a peck on the cheek.
A message appeared on the wall.
Intamate-er.
Laxus smirked and dove in once again. Mira wrapped her hands around his neck and complied to the kiss.
They broke apart for an intake of breath and the runes started to vanish.
A few moments later, Natsu and Lucy arrived with slightly disheveled features. Mira smirked mentally.
"Hey, Mira! Sorry we're late! Did you sign the boxes?"
Laxus raised a brow but the barmaid ignored it.
"Yeah."
With that, Natsu and Lucy bid them goodbye and once again headed for Lucy's apartment.
"So... Can we continue this at my place?" Laxus roamed his hands on her sides.
Mira chuckled, "I love you Laxus."
"Well," Laxus carried her bridal style. "I love you too." He gave her a peck on the forehead.
