Chapter 4

Aera's POV

They have informed me yesterday that the shoot will be in Jeju Island. Even though it's a bit far, I felt okay since I'm surrounded by a family and trusty friends.

I was in a van with Jake, Sunoo, and Jungwon. Our trip going to the airport was smooth and fortunately there were no sasaengs and it was peaceful.

The plane ride was fun we just talked and slept because we woke up really early for our six-thirty a.m. flight.

After we arrived Jeju Island, we went straight to our hotel and we got a room good for eight. I put my things on the bed in the corner and Jake put his things on a bed beside mine.

We just took a little rest and went to the beach. I already changed to my beach wear and brought some extra clothes with me.

I told my manager about the trip and she insisted to come with me. I hesitated for a bit but said okay since she's also like friend.

The staff of ENHYPEN have been busy since we got here but they still take care of me like one of the members. Even though they are shy around me and I also am with them, I'm glad they treat me nicely.

The first shoot requires a really nice weather. The second one is around sunset and it's just for the photoshoot.

They first started dancing the chorus and other parts of the song as well.

"Aera, are you sure you're doing okay here?" Sunoo asked as he sat for their break.

"Yes, I was just practicing my script for my MV shoot"

"When are you going to shoot it?" Heeseung asked after he took a sip in his coffee.

"During the weekend probably. We can't shoot it at Friday, there's MusicBank again. It's twice this month. Also a mini fan meeting in the afternoon." I said as I sighed. More members entered the took a shelter under the tent.

Everybody settled down and the staff fixed their hair and their make up. They finished their morning shoot and the staff rested for a bit.

Since there are no shoot going on they told me to swim with them which I did. The water was cold at first. My longsleeved top and fitted shorts are already wet because of Jake and Ni-ki's water fight. I tied my hair into a high and tight ponytail.

The mini waterpark in the water was kind of waving at us so we were pretty tempted.

"Aera, would you do a back flip from here?" Sunghoon asked from a much higher plank.

"Sure, it's not really that high, right?"I asked him." Well, it is a bit. Are you still down? " He made sure.

"Yeah, I'm still down."

"Be careful, Aera." Heeseung reminded me shortly as I climbed the steps.

"1! 2! 3!" Ni-ki counted for me to jump. I jumped and flipped. As I was landing the water I heard Jake's voice in an alarming way, "Aira, you didn't put your life jacket on!!"

Oh, shi-

I felt my body hit the water and I panicked when I felt how deep this area is.

Sure, I'm a bit of an athlete. I can play sports but I can't swim! Jake knows how to, that's why I never really though of the need of learning it.

I struggled a bit and felt my chest aching, needing air to breathe. But I can't. I tried to open my eyes and it hurt a bit but at least I'm aware what's going on around me. It was scarier to see the deepness of the sea. My legs looks very small compared to the blue area.

I saw something drop from above and there were bubbles everywhere. I couldn't see his face. He went near me and grabbed my arm as I was dragged to the surface, I saw another person also going to up to breathe air.

I squinted my eyes to properly see my surroundings. I didn't speak, trying to calm myself down, trying to regain my breath. As I fastly calmed down, I saw Heeseung beside me also freshly wet and catching his breath.

"Aera, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Jake went near us. He was in the water then climbed his way up to sit.

He also tried to save me... But Hee-

"Aera,why did you jump without wearing a life jacket?" Manager Kang asked me worriedly while caressing my back. When did she get here? How fast did she run from the tent to the middle of the sea for me?

"I'm okay, everyone. I was also shocked. I'll just rest a bit here then I'll join you." I tried to smile brightly.

"It was a good thing, Heeseung and Jake acted fast. They both looked seriously worried. You can see the horror in their eyes the moment you struggled." Ni-ki explained what happened. I looked at Heeseung as he was looking down shyly.

"Thank you, Heeseung. That could've been a total mess." I smiled then he stood up. "That was nothing. Thanks that your okay." He stretched his hand and I grabbed it then he held me up.

"Also Jake. Thank you for caring for me all the time." I smiled at him.

"Of course, you're my sister. And, our dear brother in Australia would probably kill me if I don't take care of you." He laughed. Well, that's right. Brother asked Jake to take care of me and himself while we're here in Korea.

"That's right." I laughed with him.

After that we had lunch we just rested a bit, set some playlist on. They even spoiled me four songs from their upcoming album. The staff was seriously shocked at first but I reassured them that it's always safe with me. They soon let it go.

The afternoon photoshoot have ended fastly. Then they played soccer on the sand. Ni-ki favored me to also have a photoshoot in the beach which I did.

They said I should post a picture holding the ball they used for their mv to tease the fans. Of course I agreed, I love teasing AIR and ENGENE.

Night came and we set up a campfire to eat marshmallows. The hotel is a seaside place so we went outside to relax.

"Everyone, let's settle down." Jungwon said as he first sat on the sand.

"Hey, let's play truth or dare!" Ni-ki excitedly said. We did as what the maknae wanted.

"The one who spins the bottle will be the one to ask or order the person the bottle landed on, okay?" I said as I spun the bottle.

"Sure." they agreed.

"Ahh.... I'm getting more nervous." Sunghoon sighed as he nervously rubbed his hands together.

The bottle finally landed on a person.
The six others sighed a relieved sigh.

"Okay, then, Heeseung. Truth or Dare?" I asked him.

And that's how this chaotic play named 'truth or dare' started between the eight of us.

A/N: The Jeju Trip has three chapters. This is the first one. I'm going to make more moments and I'll try my best for you to get to know Aera even more.
