Arin's P.O.V
The next morning I had set off to my daily habits and once I was done I went out to see Geno and pick some fruit from the orchard, I swam to Geno's cave as usual, passing people along the way the greeted me and some bowed.
Life had become boring since coronation day three months ago but the scroll Avalee gave me got me thinking about Mara and I was determined to get the fruits for her.
Geno and I headed over to Mara to give her something to eat.
"So what's got you in a hurry?" Geno asks huffing trying to keep up with me as we swam.
"I'm not hurrying" I say swimming a bit slower now.
"Could have fooled me Arin." Geno replies catching his breath.
We reach the cave and swim in, when we reached the inner cave something felt off about the cave I couldn't put my finger on it but something was different.
Geno and I stepped out of the water and I turn to see that everything was strewn about the room, the table was flipped over on it's side the sheets on the bed where ripped, and as I searched in the rooms I found that Mara was nowhere to be found.
"What happened here, what happened to her?" I say aloud
I turned to Geno he had the same shocked face that I did.
I had to find her but where would I even start.
