Bakugo's POV
I can't breath. Everything around me is liquid. I can't see. I can't swim. My lungs hurt. I reach for something solid, but find nothing. I'm getting weaker. Weaker. Tired. My lungs burn. I try to gasp for air but regret it as liquid fills my lungs. I fall deeper and deeper into the darkness until everything disappears.
I jolt awake. I sit up, gasping for air, soaked in sweat. I looked down at my hands which were already popping. My breaths were shaky. I put my hand on my chest, feeling my heart beat start to slow. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. So much for trying to get a good nights rest on the weekend.
I got up and walked to my bathroom, going pee, and then walking over to my desk. I sat in the chair and decided to get to writing in my journal. Hound dog had gotten me to write in a journal about my troubles. That includes my night terrors. I've been having them ever since the first incident with sludge villain. Then the night terrors go back and forth with the sludge villain and being kidnapped.
I turned to an empty page and started to write about my most recent dream. I felt tired. I haven't gotten a good nights rest in a while. I have bags under my eyes and people are starting to notice. I yawn as I keep writing. When I finished, I closed the book and then left my room to get a morning snack. I didn't have the energy to cook breakfast yet.
I got down to the kitchen, but when I walked in, I realized I wasn't alone. There was Shitty Hair. He was looking in the fridge. He then closed the door, holding a protein shake, and looked at me. When he saw me, he gave me a toothy grin. "Hey, Bakubro! What are you doin' up so early?"
I walked passed him and to the fridge, which he'd stepped away from. "I could ask the same about you."
He laughed lightly, which I found annoying. "I was about to go for a run. Wanna come?"
I grabbed a bag of grapes and set it on the counter, closing the fridge. "Not a chance."
I plopped a few grapes in my mouth and turned to him as he spoke. "Suit yourself. I'll talk to you later."
I didn't say anything as he left. I checked the time and it was 6 AM. It was just starting to get light out. I don't know how he does it. He goes to bed late and then gets up early. I go to bed early and try to get up late.
After eating some grapes, I put them back and then went back to my room. I got to my dorm, closed the door, and laid back in bed, staring at the ceiling. I felt tired. Really tired. But I couldn't fall asleep. Instead, I kept thinking about the dream I had. I groaned as I turned to my side. It felt like I was acrually drowning. It hurt.
After a few hours of laying there, I got up and went down to the common room. Some of the others were awake. This included Raccoon Eyes, Headphones, Dunce Face, Shitty Hair, Pink Cheeks, and the damn nerd.
I walked over to the couch, sitting down, and Shitty Hair plopped down next to me. Raccoon Eyes leaned against the couch, behind him. They both talked about some nonsense until Dunce Face spoke to me. "Hey, Kacchan! Why do you look so tired all of a sudden?"
I looked at him with a frown. But I guess I look meaner than usual lately because he looked away, sweating. Shitty Hair put his arm around me, still smiling. "Hey, Bro! everything okay? You look upset."
I stood up and walked away. "I'm fine."
I heard Mina whisper something to Kirishima that I could still hear. "That's what all the girls say. But everyone knows what that means."
I saw Deku looking in my direction, holding his phone, standing right next to pink cheeks. I grumbled to myself as I walked outside, upset that they were bothering me. I just wanted peace and quiet.
Deku's POV
I knew what was going on. It was pretty obvious. When Kacchan was young, he had night terrors and lost sleep because of it. He's having them again. He acts this way when he loses sleep from them. He starts to look meaner than usual but doesn't actually act on his anger, but he starts to just randomly leave the room.
I kept staring at the direction he went when I noticed that Uraraka was trying to get my attention. "Deku? What are you looking at?"
I looked at her. "Oh. Sorry. What were you saying?"
Kirishima's POV
Bakugo was being weird. I wanted to know what it was. He's been a lot more distant than usual. I looked back at Mina who looked back at me. She smiled. "You thinkin what I'm thinkin?"
I shrugged. "What are you thinking?"
She leaned toward my ear and whispered to me. "We find what's eating away at him and help him."
I shrugged. "Maybe it's nothing. We might be wrong about something being up with him."
Mina leaned back. "Meh. I'ma try to find out what it is on my own then!"
