As the town of Bergamo has started to come to life by the rising sun, the birds started singing their morning songs as the sun had started to come to view. As the sun had started to rise from the golden and blue-streaked sky, the people of the massive town had started to awakening and getting ready to start their day. The adults had started heading towards nearby cafés or started heading towards work. The teenagers had started working their morning jobs or meeting up with each other in their favorite hangout spots and challenge each other to beybattles. While the kids had started helping their parents, playing with their older siblings, or watching the beybattles excitedly. But heading towards a workshop and noticed the awakening of the town in an apartment building was a single person. The person happens to be a girl around eleven years old and is quite tall for her age. She has deep sapphire blue eyes and wavy blonde hair, a little longer than shoulder-length. She also have a fair complexion and is well-muscled, despite her slender figure. She's wearing a short-sleeved half-blue and half-white t-shirt, a pair of dark blue fingerless gloves on her hands, dark blue pair of folded pants with a blue sash that wrapped up to her right side, and a pair of two dark blue tennis shoe-like boots. The girl's name is Ali De La Hoya, the Wanderer.
She entered the workshop and immediately got to work on one of the computers. Ali made five blueprints of an attack type bey on the computer. She suddenly felt a presence behind her, but she doesn't know what it was till she heard a faint roar of an lioness behind her and felt a little startled about that. Ali placed a basket of beybread and a bottle of fruit juice onto the table, in case she gets hungry or thirsty.
As Ali continued working on her new bey, she started using different machines as she worked on her bey. In the next few hours, she had finished the Chassis and the driver, but now it was time to put the finishing touches on the layer. She soon approached the 3-D printer and started printing her bey from the pictures she had sent it, but Ali started carving out the head of a lioness.
A lioness can do strong attacks and can roar as loud as they want, thought Ali as she narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. An attack type should do the trick.
"I'll call her Protector Stormstrike Victory," said Ali.
But something strange happened to Ali as she watched as her bey had came to be. It was like entering an awakening dream of a sort. Surrounding her were soft colors of dark blue and dark green. It felt so unreal and magical at the same time, Ali finally realized that she was standing in a misty jungle of a sort.
"Wh-What's happening?" Ali's voice echoed in the jungle. "Where am I?"
"Hello Ali." A deep, rumbly voice was soon heard echoing through the strange space. The voice is clearly a female and sound human, but inhuman at the same time. "I am glad to finally meet you."
Ali turned to look at a cloud and out stepped the most magnificent creature she had ever seen in her whole entire life.
It is a lioness.
The lioness stood above Ali and both of their eyes met, she's awestruck at the stunning creature standing before her. The lioness is large and a little lean, but the lioness had muscles dancing underneath her coat that showed her strength. The lioness is dark blue with a darker blue stripe lined with a silvery stripe on her nose that trails up to her back. Her eyes are deep blue like two pools of the clearest water, with bright blue eye rims below her eyes. There's silver on her muzzle, her underbelly, and her paws. On the back of her four legs are many little, silvery spots like scattered stars.
"Stormstrike?" whispered Ali curiously. "Is that you?"
Stormstrike nodded and said, "Yes. It is I." The lioness looked at her with narrowed eyes. "I can only be wielded by those who have courage and fair hearts."
Ali bowed down respectfully before Stormstrike and said determinedly, "I will try my best to be a brave and fair Blader to you."
"Being afraid is natural," Stormstrike reminded Ali. "Being brave doesn't mean being unafraid. It means facing your fears and giving it your all."
Ali looked down as she took in this advise and looked up at Stormstrike with a determined smile as she said, "I'm willing to try give it my all for three both of us."
Stormstrike smiled and nodded to Ali before she had came back to reality and looked around curiously to see she was back in the workshop. She put on her goggles and got to work on the top parts of her bey.
Ali put down her bey onto the table and looked down at her bey in her hand with a warm, proud smile. It's deep blue with a silvery lioness's head with sapphire blue jeweled eyes in the center of the bey and it's accented with lighter blue and silver highlights. It's an right-spin Attack Type God Layer that gives a powerful impact with its two upper striking blades that moves up and down, pinching the opponent at the time of attack and biting. The Layer features four metal lionesses heads; two of which surround the center and two of which follow the perimeter. Stormstrike also features a gimmick; the top half of the Layer is spring-loaded for it to "bite" onto the opponent. It's equipped with an evolution mechanism that has a sharp continuous striking blade and a thick striking blade with integrated weight, and has the ability of a bound blade and a rubber blade hidden in the base. The Armor features three blade shapes at three points that cut through the air. It consists of a metal core and has plastic piece in the shape of a lioness' tooth-shaped blade combined with its inward weight distribution for defense. It has a low angled, spring loaded cone shaped tip for both attack and stamina, but Ali had made it more stabilized better than most attack type beys.
Ali smiled fondly as she picked up Stormstrike and went towards the window to show her bey the sunrise, passing the empty basket and bottle that she had earlier. Ali sighed as she felt the wind ran through her hair and smiled unconsciously.
She smiled at Stormstrike with a fond smile before she pocketed her new bey into her beypocket and picked up her backpack before she left the workshop. Ali placed her earplugs in her ears and started playing some pop songs from her phone that's hidden in her other pocket as she started walking away from the workshop.
Ali was humming to herself quietly as she walked down the sidewalk with a calm, but peaceful smile when Ali had arrived to the riverbank that she usually trains by herself.
She wants some bey launching practice by herself before she faces off anyone else. She closed her eyes as she thought about the launching her bey in specific spot, wait for the outcome of her bey launch, and correct her errors.
"Three!" Ali smiled excitedly and tossed her hair over her shoulders. "Two!" Ali lowered her launcher towards the stadium and grinned excitedly in new hope of her bey launching skills. "One! Let it rip!" Ali stood to the left and her hair flowed behind her as she released her bey into the stadium, her launcher sparking like lightning.
Stormstrike had hit the stadium hard and started zooming around in the stadium in a bright golden light tailing behind it. Ali smiled at the sight of it, she always admired the way her bey lights up and powers through the stadium. It's almost like Stormstrike has the power and spirit of a lioness built in her, which always makes Ali proud of her bey.
"Keep it up Stormstrike!" called out Ali.
Stormstrike zoomed in the stadium in good speed, but Ali knew she could do better. Stormstrike hit the stadium walls a few times, causing some sparks to fly out behind Stormstrike's and continued zooming around the stadium with sparks flying behind it, almost like Valtryek during a Rush Launch or something. But that didn't stop Stormstrike, it continued zooming around the stadium as fast as it can.
"Not too bad. But could be better." Ali looked down at her launcher with a puzzled frown. "I probably moved my hand a bit too much and it sort of tipped off my launch." Ali watched as Stormstrike zoomed around excitedly in the stadium and smiled at her bey before she refocused on her errors. "I was probably off-balance too, I have to work on that." Ali glanced at the morning sky and the river that's shimmering the reflections off of the sunrise.
"Okay, partner." Ali gave a warm smile to Stormstrike and raised a hand to pick up her bey. "That's enough practice for today. We can practice more tomorrow." Stormstrike hit the left side of the stadium and came flying into Ali's gloved hand, in which she calmly caught and looked down at Stormstrike with a smile. "Atta girl, Stormstrike. We've gotten pretty far today, but it's time for a lunch break." Ali cleaned her bey with her polishing rag and looked down at the stadium thoughtfully.
"Hey Ali! Do you wanna battle me?" Ali spun around to look at a boy who was standing on top of the staircase. He's shorter than her, but he makes up for it with his determined spirit and fiery heart. He has water-blue hair that's held up by a blue headband with yellow accents like circular stars in his hair, fair skin, and brown eyes shining with a fiery and determined fire. He also has red markings on his left cheek below his eye; the upper marking appears lightning-shaped with an extra line emerging from it, and the middle and lower markings are right triangle shaped. He's wearing a red short-sleeved hoodie with a yellow "V" emblem on the front, a light blue body warmer with cerulean borders over the top with a smaller black "V" on a black-bordered yellow circle design on the left side and a black-bordered yellow circle with a black Beyblade symbol on the back, blue rolled-up trousers, black fingerless gloves with yellow cuffs and yellow borders around the finger sleeves, and blue high top shoes with yellow quarter panels and white collars. As Ali continued looking at him from the shadows of the nearby trees, she could actually feel the fiery and excited spirit radiating from the boy, she could see the determination and strength in his eyes, and the loving passion that he has for Valtryek, beyblading, and challenges. It makes her want to challenge him to a battle. Ali recognizes him as Valt Aoi, a childhood friend of Xander.
Ali smiled as she thought, Finally. I think I finally found a worthy rival. Ali cracked a smile at the sight of the boy. She's part of Xander's BeyClub aka the Sword Flames, but she likes to come to town and battle with the Beigoma Academy BeyClub once in a while (and freak out Rantaro by startling him for her amusement). She enjoys joining in as the two teams battle each other out. But Ali could see something special in Valt, he just hasn't realized it yet. Ali could see the excitement and determination in Valt, it makes her smile to see his inner fire roar.
"Sure kid," said Ali with a smile. "I could use a challenge."
"Awesome!" Valt had came down to join her and stood at the other side of the stadium. "Can I see your bey?"
"Yup." Ali showed her new bey to Valt with a smile. "This is Protector Stormstrike Victory."
"It looks awesome!" exclaimed Valt. "Lets test it out!"
Ali nodded as the two of them both loaded their beys into their launchers. "Three!" Ali tossed her hair over her shoulders and Valt grinned excitedly. "Two!" Ali lowered her launcher over the stadium and Valt lowered himself over the stadium. "One! Let it rip!" Ali stood to the left and her hair flowed behind her as she released her bey into the stadium in a deep blue flash. Valt released his bey in a bright blue flash into the stadium too.
I have no doubt we'll be on different paths, thought Ali with a smile as she looked at the boy. But we'll always be friends and rivals, no matter what.
