Death Of A Hero
It's Sonic the hedgehog's funeral... What happened? And how did he die..?
[Shadow's POV]
[Flashback]
Dammit! There's a sudden flood and me and Sonic are helping civilian's evacuate to high ground while making sure we are safe also.
Sonic: "This is so sudden... "
Shadow: "We fucking know, I'm gonna go check on the people"
Sonic: "Alright! I'll go find more missing people"
And with that, he runs down the floors.
Shadow: "Everyone's alright... Where the hell is Sonic? "
I see a blue flash and knew it was Sonic, he was carrying a little human girl with blonde hair and was crying hard.
Sonic: "It's ok... Shhh... "
He puts the human down and I saw she also had emerald green eyes.
2 humans runs towards the girl and hugs her.
They thank Sonic and things turn for the worst. There's a storm.. A FUCKING STORM.
Shadow: "Shit! "
The storm is pretty strong and not everybody can go down to the other floors because theres a lot of water now...
Suddenly, Sonic was picked up by the wind and nearly fell off the Top of the hotel.
I quickly caught his hand but the wind is so fucking strong, and I remember something... Sonic can't swim!
Shadow: "Sonic! " I tightly gripped his hand while the other people tried to help but gets pushed back by the wind instead, it's like the Universe is against Sonic.
Sonic: "Shadow... Pls, let go of me.. "
Shadow: "Are you crazy?! I'm not gonna let go! You barely even lived! Your only 15 Sonic!! 15!! "
Sonic: "I know Shadow! But there's no other way or else we'll both die! Pls! "
Shadow: "Let me die instead! I've lived for 50 years, Sonic! Your also Möbius's hero! "
Sonic: "Pls!! "
But then my hand slipped a bit and Sonic nearly falls...
Sonic: "I'm sorry, Shadow.. "
Shadow: "What are you-"
He let's go of my hand but I kept my grip
Shadow: "Your not doing this Sonic! Pls! Let me just find a way! "
The wind gets stronger and I was getting pushed as well but then I grab on a metal stick attached on the hotel.
Shadow: "Shadow... Pls.. I don't want my crush to die... "
Shadow: "What..? " and my grip got softer...
Sonic: "This might be the worst time but... Shadow The Hedgehog... I'm in love with you and... I'm sorry.. " he let's go and I tried to reach for him but I was too late..
Shadow: "Sonic..? Sonic!!!! "
I saw him fall down smiling with tears on his eyes.
"Goodbye Shadow... "
[End Of Flashback]
I'm in his funeral... Crying... So hard.. It's been hours when I started crying.. They found Sonic's body and his heart was pierced by a metal pole...
Rouge: "It's ok... Shadow... " Rouge was comforting me while I'm crying on her shoulder.. She was shedding small tears and everybody was crying.. He was a huge impact in all our lives...
[After The Funeral]
The funeral is finished and I'm still crying.. We were in Sonic's house and everyone else is down stairs... I'm in his room, crying hugging a picture of him.. I was so stupid of not confessing my feelings sooner..
Suddenly, somebody walks in and sits beside me.. It was Knuckles.
Knuckles: "Your the one who cried the most... Why..? "
Shadow: "Wanna know why..? Because I love him Knuckles.. I love him.. "
Knuckles: "What..? "
Shadow: "Maria told me that I can't see in colors before I meet my Soulmate.. She told me to look in their eyes and then I can finally see in color... Who was it...? Sonic.. He is the one who helped me.. He's the one who showed me emotion other then Maria.. "
Knuckles: "I.. Don't know what to say..."
Shadow: "If you don't have anything else to say then leave me alone... I... Need some time... "
Knuckles: "Alright... By the way, Dinner's ready, you gotta come down eventually, you stayed here for more then 5 hours... "
Shadow: ".... Fine... "
Knuckles: "Good" with that, he leaves and closes the door..
"I just wanna see his smile again... "
