Taking place during Legendary, our fanfiction starts off with Y/N getting kidnapped. However, the scoundrel by the name of Julian rescues her from her captors and arrives on Valenda for the Caraval. Deciding to play, she's sucked into a world where she doesn't know fact from fiction, and is faced with three men who make her unsure how they view her: a game piece, challenge, ally, or lover. Julian is a liar but a flirt, Dante is dark but teasing, and Jacks is cold but. . . No, that's it.

You're Jacks' reluctant fiancé, but in order to keep his image you're fake dating Julian, but become Dante's dirty secret as well. Nothing is bound by any real relationship, and as the days pass, you struggle to win Caraval but not the hearts of three men who have no idea you're unsure of who to choose.

"It doesn't have to be a game though. . . At least, we don't," Julian murmurs against my lips.

"If I didn't take any kind of liking to you, you'd already be dead." Jacks breathes into my ear, grip on my arm now deadly. "Lucky for you, I find you amusing, perhaps even promising."

Dante chuckles, pulling me closer. "No matter my identity, I want you to win. Don't you believe that?" His mouth touches mine, his words vibrating in my bones.

Firstoff. . .

It's ironic I'm writing this but I haven't actually finished Finale, I actually just started it, despite my description saying this will contain spoilers for the whole series. But I'm a fast reader and will finish it in a day or two anyway, so no matter. (7/22/22)

Second. . .

I hate Jacks.

Like, a lot.

As of right now, anyway. I see no redemption but it happens very often so I won't be surprised if I don't hate Jacks quite as fervently by the end of the book. However, Legend is getting on my nerves ATM but I mean c'mon. . .

Third. . .

HUGE soft spot for Julian. 11/10 would propose to him. Idec. ENTP boi. Flirt. Fake dating trope. A scoundrel who loves deeper than his lies. But Ima not make the story ALLLLLL about him for your sake ;))) YWWWWWW

Fourth. . .

Literally I binged these books so hard, I finished Caraval and Legendary SO fast, reading whenever I got more than 10 seconds to myself. I don't know where this will fit into my updating schedule and life in general but can I just say. . . I'm OBSESSED. This will be part canon (meaning part of the events will happen as they did in the book) and part fanon (shit I make up). Enjoy the ride. (7/22/22)

UPDATE: IT IS 7/23/22 AND ALMOST 3AM AND I FINISHED FINALE AHHHHHHH (for reference, everything NOT in bold was written slightly after midnight yesterday).

I posted the first chapter last night, not even 24 hours ago, I believe, and I'd like to say that I still kinda hate Jacks but part of me does like his character. Legend is a good boi (meaning I'm no longer ticked at him, and uh, i kinda love him), and Julian is still perfect.

I also had to come and edit Julian's name since I spelled it wrong. I do write at hellish times (hence the user/j, but seriously I write anywhere from 11pm-5am), so it's not a surprise I screw up from time to time. If Tella had done it, when she realized her mistake, she would have cursed, "God's teeth!" or something like that, and I'm all for that. Scarlett would have paled and she would have rushed to correct it, but in a less cautious way than of Scar in book one. I'm curious, which is your favorite Dragna sister? Your favorite Resident Hot Boi (obviously Jacks, Julian, or Legend)? While you're at it, give me your sign, mbti, enneagram, bank account, and social security number, please.

EDIT 8/3/22:

- I do like Jacks' character now

- this story will have several endings (for each character there will be a few chapters)

- Julian is a mirrorball (leave if u disagree/j)
