"Ah, Shit" I mumble under my breath after checking the texts on my phone. I really need to stop being so late to things.

**Charlie: Arden I can't believe you're even late for this!!! You know how important this meeting is for our project! HURRY YOUR ASS UP!!

I sigh deeply knowing that of course Charlie is right. She and I had moved to South Korea together about a year and a half ago and while I struggled to keep a job, she was thriving at hers.

To help me out a bit she put in a good word for me at her company, a graphic design firm, and let's just say I'm totally blowing it already.

It's not that I hate this job, it's just... not really me. So that feeling of being an outcast at work really doesn't help the lateness habit... oops.

Today is a meeting regarding a huge project Charlie and I's team at work have been chipping away at for months. It's a huge ad campaign for a popular clothing brand so it's important that we don't screw it up.

Despite how many hours we've put in, I feel like we barely have anything to show for it. So, today is a meeting to discuss a new game plan for how to actually finish the job before we get our asses handed to us by our boss and this clothing brand. Yippee!

After pulling my black knee-length pea coat closer to my body to protect me from the chilly morning, I slip my phone back in my pocket and attempt to warm my hands on the large hot coffee I just picked up. I already know what you're thinking and you're absolutely right, I shouldn't have gotten coffee if I was already late but I needed it, okay! There's no way I would survive Charlie's lectures without caffeine in my system.

I begin to quicken my pace in hopes of not being as late as I usually am, although it is most definitely a futile attempt. Before I can even look up from my coffee to check how far I am from the company building, I full-on slam into someone walking the opposite direction as me. Awesome.

I stumble backwards with my jaw dropped and arms out as hot coffee is dripping down the side of the cup as well as my hands. I slowly look up, already knowing what I'm going to see.

In front of me is a tall man wearing a beige trench coat that is now absolutely covered in most of my large hot coffee. His arms are out in a similar position as mine as he glances down at his very, very stained coat.

As I continue to scan upwards towards his face, I notice how familiar he looks and I scrunch my eyebrows in thought. He has medium length blonde hair that reaches to the tops of his shoulders. It's pushed back and tucked under a black baseball cap with a big 'NY' stitched on the front. I internally chuckle after recognizing the New York Yankees logo as I'm originally from Boston and that is a life long feud no one wants to back down from.

Ironic how Boston and New York can even duke it out this far from the states.

His mouth and nose are covered by a black mask and his eyes are still currently looking down at his coat as he flicks his arms downward a few times, attempting to shake off some of the coffee I spilled on him.

I'm still staring at his face attempting to place where I know him from when his eyes shoot up to mine in a fiery glare. My eyes slightly widen in fear as I know I'm about to get an extra lecture today.

After putting his (most likely) coffee splattered phone into his pocket, the man reaches up and unhooks one side of his mask from behind his ear. He lets the mask fall across his face and lets his arm fall back to his side.

"Seriously?!" he spits in a slightly loud and very angry voice while gesturing at his coat. His fingers carefully pluck at the edges of the wool fabric, no doubt aiming to get more of the coffee off, but it's already begun to soak in. He sighs loudly and slightly throws his head back in disbelief while adding an eye roll to aid the look of frustration.

That's when it clicks. And now my eyes widen in recognition instead of fear.

"uh...are you.." I begin to question, not even addressing the hot beverage situation he's clearly more focused on. Before I can finish my question I hear a yell from behind me.

"HYUNJIN!!" the girl screams. Him and I whip our heads around towards the origin of the scream and are horrified to see a group of girls no older than 15 all standing and pointing at us.

Now it's Hyunjin's eyes that have widened in fear.
