Chapter 6: The Dress

~3 months later~
Aria walked into the wedding dress boutique, with her friends, and her mom. "Hi I have an appointment for 3 o'clock" Aria said, as she approached the woman at the front desk. "Ok, y'all can go sit on that couch over there." The woman pointed her finger towards a long stretched couch.
"Do you even know what kind of dress you want?" Hanna asked her. "Not particularly, no, but I want it to have sparkle,that is a must" Aria said, finally sitting down.
A young,cheerful woman with a blonde hair, walked over to the group. "You must be Aria, you're clearly the most excited" the woman said, and pointed at her. "My name is Lauren, and I will be helping you find your dress today. Okay now who is the lovely maid of honor?" She asked. Spencer raises her hand. "Is there anything you would like to see her in?" She asked Spencer. "Something with lace, maybe a shorter dress" she said . "And what about you mom?" Lauren asked Ella. " I would like something a little more classy, with a big, really full skirt." Ella explained. "What about you, Aria?" She asked.
" ummm, I don't want long sleeves, maybe straps,and something similar to this, I love the skirt of this part" Aria said showing the picture to the woman. "I only have a budget of around seven thousand dollars"Aria said . "okay then let's get started shall we?" Lauren lead Aria to a room in the back, and the girls went and sat out near the mirror.
Aria walked out in a beautiful, silk organza dress, with a sweetheart neckline, and an a-line skirt, topped off with a silver ribbon around her waist. The bodice was beaded at the top, near the neckline. Aria spun around in her dress. " I really like the top of the dress" Hanna said, "but that skirt,isn't flattering on you. I think that a ball gown style skirt would look nice on you Aria" Hanna looked at her, and grinned. Aria returned about half an hour later, in a puffy, ball gown style dress. The bodice has a sweet heart neckline and it has rhinestones all over it. Ella squealed, "you look gorgeous" Ella said to Aria who was quite obviously, not in love with the dress. "I don't like it, the bottom is too big, I feel like a giant cupcake" Aria said. "Is there anything else you might like?" Lauren asked Aria. "Well I think I might like it to be a bit more fitted in the top, and I liked the ball gown skirt, and i was wondering if maybe you could do something with not too much bling or something like that?" Aria asked and smiled at Lauren as they began to walk back into the dressing room.
Aria looked around the shop, searching for the dress she had in mind. She couldn't decide what kind of dress she wants to wear. She didn't like mermaid style dresses, but she couldn't find anything else she liked.

She finally settled on a dress within her price range. She walked out carefully, carrying her dress so she wouldn't trip. "Aria is wearing a white tulle ball gown, with an asymmetrical draped skirt by Vera wang, and she has a silver beaded bow belt" Lauren said. She twirled around in the dress. it had two tulle straps and a square neckline. Aria smiled while looking at herself in the mirror.
Her friends were in awe of her elegant yet contemporary dress. "Aria it's so beautiful!" Ali said smiling at her. "It's stunning, I love the skirt, too" Emily said, in a somewhat quiet voice. Aria got down off the pedestal, and hugged her mother, who was crying. "It's ok mom, please don't cry." Aria told her. "I'm sorry, sweetheart, you just look so beautiful. I can't believe that this is actually happening. You're growing up so fast" Ella sobbed, and wiped her tears from her eyes with a Kleenex.
Aria turned around to look at her mother and her friends.
Lauren brought out a satin veil with a ribbon trim, and placed it on top of aria's head,along with some matching jewelry. Aria turned back around and was so overjoyed with how she looked. She gasped, and started to tear up.
"This is the dress I want to get married in" Aria said, half sobbing.
