It was a cloudy day which made the world a little darker when it's still early. Jungwon felt the cold breeze brought by winter hit his face, winter's coming soon, the season that Jungwon hates the most since it left him something terrible and unforgettable.
He started walking to the university he studied in. He's a decent student with good grades, he was never involved into fights and trouble, he's known as the quiet smart kid who didn't want anyone to interfere him.
As he entered the school gate, Jungwon only kept his head at the floor knowing that he's an outcast. Yet even though he's an outcast, many girls would come and confess their love for him yet he didn't mind since his focus was only on his studies.
Walking towards his room as he sat their in silence, other's were talking with their own group of friends, playing, laughing. While him, he sat their reading a book with his ear pods on. His only comfort was music, nothing more. That was the only thing that keeps him away from the painful reality which he was thankful off.
He doesn't pay attention to anyone who tries talking with him, it's either he ignores it or push them away, he didn't want to get close to anyone since what happened that day.
After going to this boring school, Jungwon walked fast making sure that he won't come home late. His house was kinda far from school, it's like a 30 minute walk that's why he always rush to come home not wasting any second since his capable of what his father could do. "Aish" he muttered as he tripped on a small stone and fell face first.
It actually left a small cut yet he didn't mind it since his focus on coming home now, his father would be mad if he come home late again. The sky is now starting to go darker and darker as he started fastening his phase, well his already running as he breath heavily. His heavy backpack wasn't helping him.
As he reached the only thing he can hear was silence, this gave Jungwon a uneasy feeling. He was hesitant as he held the door knob of their front door, the boy leaned forward towards the door as he listen carefully yet he didn't hear anything. Nothing was heard, only silence.
He trembled, opening the door revealing his mom waiting for him to come home holding a stick in her hands. Jungwon was shaking a bit knowing he'll get hit multiple times, he guessed that the school already revealed the mid term results and it looks like his mother wasn't okay with the results.
"Come here, leave your bag there" she said as she stared at her son's eyes making the boy nervous. He pursed his lips as he looked down leaving the bag there as he walked forward towards his mother. "Yes mother"
"Look at me Yang Jungwon" He immediately obeyed his mother as he faced her. She slapped him hard which caused his nose to bleed as his cheeks stings leaving a dark red mark. "On your knees" he obeyed once again and kneeled down as he faced the floor.
Drops of tears touched the floor, he was crying. Whimpering. Seconds after his mom started hitting him hard with a stick complaining about his grades and how worthless he is.
"Why can't you be like your brother!? We're generation of doctor's, can't you do a good job with your grades at least!?? How can you enter medical school if you're like this!??" His mom yelled in anger, jungwon wasn't listening to it.
He was against that plan, him being a doctor. He always dreamed of becoming a prosecutor yet his mom is always against it, she never supported him in his dream. She would end up crushing it for him, all she wanted was wealth, power, and becoming the 4th generation doctor.
"Tsk, such useless brat" his mom finally stopped whipping him with the stick and left the boy their as she headed to her own room.
Jungwon was having trouble breathing as he hissed at the stinging pain in his body, he couldn't bare the pain yet his body felt numb as he fell on the floor of their living room. He closed his eyes asking himself what did he do wrong to deserve this kind of treatment. It was a really traumatic experience for him.
He never saw him mom this mad that she waited for him to arrive from school, and hit him without hesitation or any sign of mercy. She wasn't even guilty of all the abuse she had done.
Jungwon curled up in the floor feeling his body against the cold tiled floor, his arms and legs had a few cuts also his left cheek, his nose still continued to bleed and a sudden terrible head ache he felt. He curled his fist into a circle as his knuckles turned white.
The pain was just unbearable to him this time, it was something with so much pain, he didn't knew what he's going to do. He can feel his eyes close as darkness swallowed him.
