Ch. 4

The Prophecy

[Shadow POV]

"Have you heard about the Ancient People? "

Tails: "What? You mean the Ancient People that have created us?"

Shadow: "Why are you asking that in this type of situation? "

X: "Just curious"

Knuckles: "Well, we have heard about them, in the books. It says that the Ancient people or Gods, have created the Universe and their powers are sealed in a Book, waiting for the Chosen Ones to take over their place"

X: "That's right, and I personally believe that you guys are the Chosen Ones"

Amy: "What makes you say that...? "

X: "Well, the elements line up with your personalities, like, Amy is love because you keep on confessing your love to Sonic... Tails is intelligence, Knuckles is strength, Silver is Time... Blaze is fire, Cream is Good, Cosmo is Earth, Rouge is Crystals, Mephiles is Darkness, Sonic is speed... Shadow is... Magic"

Mephiles: "Our personalities and powers may line up with the elements but that doesn't mean well are the Chosen Ones"

X: "Just saying, because I believe in the Prophecy"

Cosmo: "Prophecy? "

X: "The Prophecy claims that the Chosen Ones will be heroes and their personalities or powers will align with the Book. They just find the Book that keeps their true potential and release balance in the world. And the Prophecy states that Magic and Speed are the most powerful of all along with Intelligence, Strength, Time, Evil, Good and Darkness"

Silver: "And you believe that we are the Chosen Ones? "

X: "I do"

Rouge: "I don't believe it's possible... "

X: "But I do, I believe in stuff that others don't. How would you know it's true if you don't believe in it? Even if it isn't true, at least you tried to learn it"

Shadow: "I guess your kind of right... "

X: "Also, how can you all hear me? "

Rouge: "We don't know"

X: "Maybe God gave me the ability to speak to the living"

Cosmo: "Maybe"

They hear a knock on the door and a doctor walks in which made them all turn their heads.

Shadow: "Is there a problem, Doc? "

Doctor: "No, I just need to speak to Mr. X for a second"

Mephiles: "Mk.. "

They all left the room and the Doctor sits in a seat next to X's bed.

Doctor: "Well, X, I may have some news... "

X: ".... What is it...? "

[Shadow POV]

I don't know what the Doctor is going to talk about with X, but I have a bad feeling about something and I don't know why.

Tails: "You don't need to worry, X will be ay ok"

Shadow: ".... I'm just worried for him..."

Rouge: "We can see why.. He seems like a nice guy I guess"

Knuckles: "Let's just see this guy after the Doctor leaves"

[Sonic POV]

I couldn't believe the Doctor... I was shocked..

Doctor: "I know it seems impossible, but it is now"

Doctor: "I'll give you some space"

With that, he leaves the room and I stay there processing his words..

[Tails POV]

The Doctor comes out and we rush to him.

Shadow: "Is there anything we need to know? "

Doctor: "No.. But, on what I told Mr. X, pls don't question him about it. He seemed uncomfortable and he needs some space also"

Mephiles: *Sigh* "Alright, we will"

Doctor: "Make sure to check on him after 30 minutes"

Tails: "Ok, thx Doc"

Doctor: "Just doing my job, call me if there's something wrong" and he leaves...

[Timeskip: 30 Minutes Later]

I knock on the door and open it a bit, I then pop my head out to check on X. He was laying down, staring at the ceiling.

X: "Is there something you need, Tails? "

Tails: "No... Just checking on you, Shadow is asleep and the others are in the waiting room" I said walking in.

X: "I see, Shadow does need some rest"

Tails: "Mhmm... And about the Ancient People... " I said and he sits up slowly while I walk to his side and help him up.

X: "What about them? "

Tails: "Well... I did some research.. "

"And I need to share some shocking results"

Heya Stars! Sorry if this was kind of short, I wanted to make this longer but then y'all have to wait even more 😅

So, ye, I don't have anything else to say other then reminding y'all that I take requests! So if you want to be in the story, you can! If you want to be one of the Ancient People, you can! But some elements are taken by the Sonic Gang so sorry.
